  1. I LOVE this ice maker. I live in a rental with just a basic fridge/freezer unit so no built in ice maker, and the small freezer is always packed with barely room to keep an ice bin, and def no room to freeze ice in trays. The way this works is that the ice bullets are formed on metal rods which are the only part of the unit that is chilled to freeze the water, therefore This ice maker does not have a freezer compartment that will keep the finished ice bullets frozen so you will heed to immediately transfer the ice to your freezer as soon as the collection bin is full. The first time I made enough ice to fill my ice bin in my freezer, I realized that the ice bullets tend to have a melted outer layer so that once in the ice bin, they will all freeze into a block of ice bullets that need to be broken apart. I solved this problem by putting the ice bullets into a ziplock bag which I keep in my freezer ice bin. This allows me to easily break up the ice bullets every time I need to retrieve ice from my stash, as well as keeps the ice fresh by not adsorbing odors and also keeps it from sublimating away while in frozen storage. A gallon sized bag was not big enough to maximize the available storage space in my ice bin so I got the 2.5 gal size and those generously line my bin and allow me to store my ice bin’s maximum capacity of ice. When I want ice I just pull the bag out of the bin, drop it onto the counter a few times to break them apart, just like you have to do with a purchased bag of ice. After getting the ice I need out, I just put the bag of ice back in the freezer ice bin, squish out the air and seal the bag & stick it back in the freezer. Easy and fast. The water reservoir of the ice maker holds 2 liters and it just so happens that that amount of water makes the exact amount of ice bullets to completely fill up my freezer ice bin to max capacity so I am very happy with it. A small freezer compartment to collect the ice in as it is made would have rated it 5 stars, but the simpler design without it still works well for my needs and is a much more affordable price than a unit with such a freezer collection space, so a solid 4 stars for a useful unit that will require some personal intervention to transfer the ice into freezer storage as it is made.I do wish that it had an audio alert for the full bin indicator in addition to the red indicator light, so that I could get the ice into the freezer immediately, but since the unit is small, portable and does not need to be hooked up to a water line, I just placed it where I can see it from my desk chair and set an alarm on my phone to start looking at the indicator lights after 50-55 minutes and that is working very well for me.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ! SEE ADDED PHOTOS!!! 📢🦠😷🤧⚠️UPDATED 02/2024 📢⚠️🦠🧼🪥🧊While visiting my grandparents, the ice maker needed water but I wasn’t sure how much was already in the machine. The ice maker is ontop of their 45″ coffee bar cabinet (I’m 5’1). I got a step stool and opened the cover to check the water level.I was stunned by what I saw! Before you go judge or assume that she is dirty etc, as stated in my orginal review below about cleaning the machine, that this can happen quickly. My 86 y/o grandmother is ODC clean & keeps an immaculate home! When I visit, I will clean the machine if I remember, otherwise she will do it.. The last time she thoroughly cleaned the machine was almost 3-weeks ago. Goes to show how quickly debris (and lawrd knows whatelse inside) can accumulate. My cleaning tips are at the bottom of my original review.I have added additional photos to show you how the machine can quickly collect dust, debris etc just from sitting with a closed lid.My grandmother has the ice maker on a raised stand on her countertop – when filling the machine with water, this went unseen. My grandmother was mortified when she saw this. She actually started to cry in fear her or my grandfather would get sick. She almost had me remove the ice maker. This is why I STRESSED about frequent cleanings in my original review.————–‐——————————-Original Unedited Review: I purchased this for my 85 year old grandparents. Their new refrigerator has a botton freezer (which they wanted) but limited freezer space so they took out the ice maker to make room. Every time we had family gatherings, there was no ice not even a tray. When I mentioned buying this to my grandmother – she didn’t want to hear it. She said there would be no room for it on her counters (she has plenty of room). I think they were more concerned they wouldn’t know how to operate it without help or how it would ‘look’ if company came lol. It blends in nicely with her other black & stainless appliances. If anything, her friends/company raves about the maker.I had the ice maker shipped to my grandparents house — and when they received it, they couldn’t get over how well packaged it was — it also has a blue film covering protecting the entire stainless machine. ❄️🧊❄️🧊❄️🧊❄️🧊 and couldn’t get over how compact the ice maker is, how quick it produces ice, and how easy it is to operate. They have actually used this several times when having outdoor gatherings. We plug it into the outside outlet or portable generator & wah lah! It was in the mid 90s with 100% humidity & the lid kept the ice intact – no issues with melting. The ice cubes are large nuggets which is nice.. Depending on your tap water minerals, I recommend using filtered water to reduce build-up.*The machine is very easy to clean AND SO IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ). When I visited, I noticed the machine had a ‘water smell’ and knew it just needed a cleaning.I do recommend cleaning & sanitizing the machine every 4-6 weeks and clean the basket frequently. If you don’t want to spend the money on ice machine cleaner – then white vinegar works just as good if not better. I put distilled vinegar in a spray bottle (1:1 ratio) and spray the inside really good. I would use a lint free microfiber cloth or an old t-shirt to wipe (DON’T USE HARSH CHEMICALS) – you can also mix water & Dawn together and use it as a spray. You’ll want to grab a toothbrush for hard to reach spots. Vinegar is a safe – natural disinfectant & descaler. Anything that gets left uncleaned has the chance to build up grime for another 2 months. DON’T SKIP THIS STEP – YOU WILL GET SICK!! 🪥🧽🧼*MAKE SURE you pour/fill the ice maker with the vinegar solution (vinegar/water), just like how you make ice! Making this ice fills the spaces most likely to have buildup, like the ice maker’s teeth, with your solution. Make sure you give the machine a good thorough rinse because you don’t want your ice to taste like vinegar. This may seem like a pain or a lot to do but it’s actually not. So quick but so IMPORTANT. You DON’T want to take chances on getting sick or someone else because ALL ice makers create mold, slime, e-coli, pests, dust, and dirt—debris of all kinds can affect the quality of your ice. Look out for green or black patches on your ice, because that’s a sure sign that it’s in need of a clean. But other dangers can be harder to spot.I hope you found my review helpful! I know it’s a little long but I rather share helpful information & not have someone get sick.GREAT QUALITY • AFFORDABLE • GIFTABLE • EASY TO USE • MAKES NUGGET ICE IN MINUTES • GREAT FOR PARTIES • INDOOR/OUTDOOR EVENTS • PORTABLE • CAMPING & MORE

Estoy satisfecho cumple con su cometido

  4. Me encantó. La uso todos los días y la encuentro conveniente. Es muy silenciosa y ocupa poco espacio.Tengo otros productos de la misma marca y confío que este dure igual por mucho tiempo

  5. I used this machine for about a year. It makes good ice at a frequent rate, but there’s a few things I struggled with. The ice melts faster than normal freezer made ice because it’s made instantly in the machine. It is a bit noisy, but it’s not too loud. The ice was worth it to me.After a few months it seemed to constantly get moldy, I would take the parts out and clean it the best I could but there are really small nooks that I could only clean with a tooth pick. No matter how frequently I cleaned it, the mold was stuck in parts of the machine I couldn’t reach. I’ve recently seen they make liquid cleaners you can run through the machine to internally wash out any bad stuff. I wasn’t aware of this at the time, and I had to throw it away because of how bad the mold was. This is something whoever owns this should keep in mind!Overall I love ice, and this was something I loved and relied on for a long time.

  6. I really like the way this machine makes ice.The first 3 makings is usually thinner and smaller cubes and than it gets nice and thick. You do have to collect the ice from the tray and put it in the freezer so it doesn’t get soft. As it does melt fast if you leave it in the tray. Overall very easy to handle and great machine. Only thing I wish is that it was a little bit smaller.

  7. Great little machine. Not too bulky, looks nice, makes ice quickly. Simple to use and to clean

  8. As a tenant of a cozy apartment, finding appliances that fit my limited space without sacrificing functionality is always a challenge. That’s why I’m beyond thrilled with my AGLUCKY Ice Maker! This compact gem has been a game-changer. Here’s how:Efficiency and Speed: The AGLUCKY Ice Maker lives up to its promise, churning out 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes in just 6 to 8 minutes. It’s impressive how quickly I can get a batch ready for my morning smoothie or an impromptu get-together with friends.Capacity and Performance: Despite its compact size, this ice maker works hard, producing up to 26.5 pounds of ice in 24 hours. I’ve never run out of ice, even when hosting a small party. The two selectable ice sizes are perfect for different needs, from cooling drinks to packing a cooler for a picnic.Self-Cleaning Feature: Living in a small space means I highly value appliances that are easy to maintain, and the AGLUCKY doesn’t disappoint. The self-cleaning function ensures the machine stays clean and hygienic with minimal effort on my part, a feature that’s especially important in a compact living environment.Portability: I was pleasantly surprised by how portable this ice maker is. It fits perfectly on my kitchen countertop without taking up much space, and I can easily move it if I need to rearrange things or take it to a friend’s place for an event. The AGLUCKY Ice Maker is a must-have for any small apartment dweller who loves to entertain or simply enjoys the convenience of having fresh ice on demand.

  9. I’ll admit that I went into this pretty skeptical of the ice maker, both because of the low price and the lesser-known manufacturer. A family member had a similar countertop ice maker and spoke very highly of it, and I got tired of being the only person in my office to keep refilling the ice trays in the freezer, so I invested in one to automate the process.Initially, I was very let down. It only made 4-5 pieces of ice at a time, and they were misshapen and thin. Over a month or so, it started producing even less ice, until it eventually stopped altogether. I’m assuming a refrigerant leak, but before it completely conked out, I reached out to the manufacturer for assistance. After a quick back and forth they sent me a brand new one. I’ve had it for a month or so, and I’m so impressed by this one that I felt I owed them a review. Now that I have one that functions properly, WOW. 12 ice cube trays being rotated on a daily basis weren’t enough to keep up with my coworkers, but this thing spits out ice so fast we’ll fill our entire bin in a few hours, even with people actively using it. It’s only on for three days a week; if we left it on in perpetuity, we’d be able to swim in all the ice it produces, Scrooge McDuck-style.I don’t review products all that often, but both their response to my support request with the first one and the resulting product were fantastic, and I can’t recommend this one enough.

  10. This is the second counter top ice maker that I’ve purchased, and I’ve found that they work well, producing a good amount of ice for an individual user at a reasonable price. However, the machines tend to break down after approximately a year. I bought this model in January 2023, and it stopped working as of late February of 2024.As long as you understand that the ice maker is probably going to die after a year, this inexpensive ice maker is a pretty good purchase, particularly when compared to models that are almost identical in construction that are priced higher.

  11. I absolutely love this ice machine. I live in the desert and it runs pretty much all the time. I’ve had others, but this is by far the best. However… I am now ordering my third one. The water gauges must be faulty, because after about 8-10 months it won’t register that there is water in the machine, and when it doesn’t detect water, it doesn’t run. So I’ve learned my lesson. They now cost less with a two year warranty than they did when I first purchased one. Still worth it in my book.

  12. I bought this particular brand based on reputation of brand. It’s not bad noisey but noisier than I thought it would be. The ice gets stuck at the top after it makes and you have to move it down so that it will make more, otherwise it thinks it’s full. That’s aggravating. This product is very simple to set up to use. In fact, I didn’t even open the manual. It was that easy. The ice is soft and good, but does melt fast in a drink Overall I recommend this product.

  13. This ice maker is an excellent point-of-use product, but it will only hold ice frozen for a short period. The ice melts and refills the water reservoir. If needing a lot of ice, use freezer bins or baggies.

  14. We have used this for parties as well as for everyday use. Makes the ice quite nicely. It is a bit noisy on the drop but that can’t be helped. Make sure you pay attention to it as the ice tends to build up and block the “full of ice” eye before the tray is filled. Also, be aware the the ice isn’t kept cold. There’s no cooling module that chills the ice. It melts back into the reservoir to be re-used. It’s a good ice maker and I’d recommend getting this one. Takes about 7-8 minutes to make a batch of 9 large cubes

  15. Easy to use. Suggest cleaning unit after 3 months of use. Very quiet.A good choice for a ice maker.

  16. I searched for an ice machine and kept seeing machines in the $100 range. I kept searching and found this machine. I am so glad I did. I saw the reviews where people complained about the noise but I do not think it is so bad. I was buying Ice at the supermarket and hated running out. This machine makes Ice to fill a couple of i gallon pitchers in about 40 minutes. I am very happy. I use spring water for the ice and I love it.My only complaint is that it does not use all of the water you put in and i am afraid the plug in the bottom will wear out.

  17. It’s small enough for use in my kitchenette. Makes as much ice as I need. It’s as I expected.

  18. This machine makes cubes quickly and quietly. I like that there are 2 size choices also. Easy to use and easy to clean when needed. Love the stainless red color!

  19. I did love it for 1 year and 8 months. It stopped freezing the water 2 days ago. Cleaned regularly including the fans of dust.Really disappointed!Upgrading to a nugget machine next, I guess.

Wow! My husband is a little bit particular about making ice. This thing has saved him so much time! It’s super easy to use and convenient. It does have to be stored in a particular temperature so we cannot keep it in the garage. However, it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space, it’s about the size of an air fryer. The ice comes out slightly watery but he puts it into a bag and into the freezer. After a while he drops the bag a few times and dumps it into the bucket so they don’t stick together. It’s super super convenient!

We purchased this in March to take to friends living on a sailboat. We tested it at home first and it worked great. There were 8 adults on tbe boat for 7 days. We used the ice from this little producer for all of our drinks. We even had extra ice which we froze in the freezer. Update 3 weeks later and the icemaker is still going strong. I knew nothing about this brand when ordered but based on the reveiws I took a chance. It’s compact and easty to set up and start. We had it on a counter next to other appliances and never had any issues. One comment which might be of interest to some is that the ice is a slightly “wet” ice. When put in a freezer the cubes do freeze together but break appart easily enough. This was not a negative for us. Two other couples have since purchased this same icemaker after experiencing it on the sailboat.

  22. Bought this based on reviews I read. This is a great ice maker! Got it for my husband as a Christmas gift. He just absolutely loves it! Would of bought one sooner if I realized how happy it would make him. It makes ice fast, it’s easy to use and not loud. He usually makes enough ice to fill a one gallon bag at a time and keeps in the freezer. Would definitely recommend. Hope it brings you as much happiness as my husband! 🙂

  23. I needed an ice machine as I was spending $12 on ice weekly. This gem will pay for itself in a couple months.Operationally, you fill the unit with about a gallon of water and in about 3-4 hours you have a large mixing bowl full of ice. I pick a day when I am home for that time as you have to clear the ice from the tray before it melts. I typically clear every hour which is probably the absolute limit as after that it stops making ice until the tray is cleared. For me and the level of ice usage, two gallons of water would get me through about a week and a half. The unit is easy to clean, I just mist a mild soap in the unit and use my kitchen sink hose to hose it out. There is a drain plug at the bottom of the unit which allows excess water to drain. The ice is not a hard crunching ice. It chews easily. I use it primarily for making breakfast smoothies and the ice blends smoothly without leaving chunks. Also there is no residue in the taste. It just taste like water (frozen).

  24. Finally can make ice coffee!!! This thing works perfectly! Super quiet makes ice quickly and the 2 size option is perfect for ice coffee or other drinks!!! Love it!!!

  25. We are getting older and since we are always using our hands at work they get tired and hurt. Sometimes cracking traditional ice trays is just hard to do. Especially for me (the wife), not so much for the hubby. I tried doing the ice trays that make the small little balls but those are a real PITA (bonus points if you know that acronym). So, I decided to try our hand (no pun intended) at this little ice maker. Honestly, it’s amazing. You fill it up once to the water line and it makes enough ice to fill your bucket that you have in the freezer. You know, the narrow ones. It’s enough ice for us for about 4 to 5 days anyways, and it only took a couple of hours. It will stop when the little bucket inside is full and when the water level is too low. It’s recommended to drain the water, especially if you don’t intend to use it every day. There’s a plug underneath that you just pop out (the cap is screwed in so you don’t lose it-genius) and it has about a half a glass of water leftover. I usually just keep it unplugged until I’m ready to use it again as it’s not an actual freezer so keeping it plugged in doesn’t do anything other than use up your electricity (not much but still). We’ve only had it for a week so to attest it’s durability, no clue. Only time will tell.
