  1. AmazonBasics batteries are quite good in terms of capacity — pretty much tied for the top spot compared to the other 6 brands I’ve tested, but other brands have the edge in capacity per dollar. When I computed value by dividing capacity by the cost per battery of the cheapest package size, they took a respectable third place, and they have the advantage of being a trusted name compared to the value leader. In the images I have attached a graph and a table summarizing my test results for the 7 types I’ve tested, but if you’d like to know more about how I test … on to the in-dept test & review.I’ve been on a bit of a quest to test all of the top-selling aaa batteries on Amazon in a repeatable, precise way. This means the same equipment, same environmental conditions, and same slots in the equipment will be used for each test. For each test, I fully discharge 3 batteries in my Opus BT-C2000 battery analyzer at rates of 100 ma, 200 ma, and 400 ma (discharge rate affects usable capacity). I have also performed this exact same test (same equipment, same conditions) on the ACDelco, Duracell Procell, Duracell Coppertop, Energizer MAX, Maxell, and Rayovac. I have linked the other brands I’ve reviewed at the end of this review if you’d like to take a look at the other results for comparison purposes. For the Amazon Basics batteries, the capacity at each discharge rate was:Disch Rt | Capacity | Runtime | Sample use case100 mA | 997 mAh | 10 hrs | Low-power LED flashlight200 mA | 914 mAh | 4.5 hrs | Electronic toy / medium LED flashlight400 mA | 623 mAh | 1.5 hrs | Motorized toy / bright LED flashlightNote that these (and all other Alkalines) would achieve somewhat higher capacity (maybe 1200 mAh) in a low discharge application like a mouse, keyboard, remote control, etc because alkaline batteries have internal resistance that reduces usable capacity at high discharge rates. The capacity of these batteries is among the best I’ve tested — take a look at the attached data table for comparative data. For the cost (~$0.31/ea in a 36 pack right now), these are a decent but beatable value — the power supplied per dollar spent is very good, but eclipsed by other currently available options.Comparison:These batteries do well capacity-wise, but value-wise are blown away by the currently cheapest energy/dollar battery that I’ve tested, the ACDelco aaa’s. Their capacity results were:Disch Rt | Capacity | Runtime100 mA | 1005 mAh | 10 hrs200 mA | 864 mAh | 4.3 hrs400 mA | 670 mAh | 1.7 hrsAs you can see, the Amazon batteries were very comperable … but, at the current time the AmazonBasics batteries are $0.31/ea (36 pack), while the ACDelco batteries are about $0.21/ea (48 pack) — so the ACDelco are significantly cheaper per mAh. I did not test shelf life, so it’s possible that these may hold up better sitting in a drawer. Although both the Amazon batteries and the ACDelco batteries are certainly made on contract by a third party, I do think that I trust Amazon a bit more to provide consistent batteries than ACDelco … although I haven’t had any trouble with my ACDelco batteries so far. It’s also worth noting that the Amazon batteries come in clearly superior packaging – while the ACDelco batteries come in a horrible gigantic plastic blister pack, the Amazon batteries come in a closable cardboard box. If you don’t go through a lot of batteries & organization of your battery drawer is important to you, that could push them into the all-around winner category despite the ~50% price premium. Finally, because another review specifically mentions the Rayovac AA’s as being ‘good’ in some usage scenarios, I thought I’d share my findings for the Rayovac AAA’s. In short, they’re garbage – the Amazon batteries are better in EVERY case. It’s possible that the Rayovac AA’s are much better than the AAA’s, but I think it’s more likely that the version of the Rayovacs tested by the website that he got his results from is different than the most popular Rayovac on Amazon (I source all of my batteries from Amazon). I ran the Rayovac test several times because I couldn’t believe how poorly they did … here are some typical Rayovac results:Disch Rt | Capacity | Runtime100 mA | 908 mAh | 9 hrs200 mA | 590 mAh | 2.9 hrs400 mA | 443 mAh | 1.1 hrsMy other battery tests/reviews:I have posted reviews for Duracell Coppertop, Duracell Procell and ACDelco aaa alkaline batteries with capacity data gathered using the exact same method and equipment. To find those reviews for comparison purposes, go to the product pages linked below and search for ‘mah’ under ‘all reviews’ (or just browse to them on my profile). If/when I do additional aaa tests/reviews in the future, I will update this list. ACDelco AAA Super Alkaline Batteries Duracell AAA Batteries Coppertop MN2400 – 20 Pack Duracell Procell AAA Batteries PC2400BKD09 Energizer MAX AAA Batteries Maxell Alkaline Battery AAA Cell Rayovac Alkaline AAA Batteries

  4. Works fine for normal trash. I did use these bags to put in clothes/pillows while I was moving and they did rip quite a bit after rubbing up against other things.

  7. These rip very easily. These are not at all a quality product. They used to be the best trash bags, so I thought I’d try them again. However I’m very disappointed that they rip so easily.

Their premium quality, non-abrasive nature, and versatility make them a standout choice for anyone seeking efficient and sustainable cleaning solutions. With durability, convenience, and affordability in mind, these microfiber cloths have earned my highest recommendation.

  9. So, when I first received the box, one of them was smashed. Amazon said they would give me a 50% refund on that. Not good enough in my opinion. I wish they were individually wrapped because I have a little bag that I keep pantiliners and tampons in whenever I’m on the go. and I can’t fold those to accommodate that. How come, Amazon can’t make packages the way the other companies do? and individually wrap them to throw in a bag or purse or what not! I use these whenever I’m using a tampon so it doesn’t leak. The product looks and feels great in the hand. This is what I see upon first glance.

  10. These are really inexpensive but I’d rather pay a little bit more and not have cuts on my face. I think these have a design flaw where the end of razor part comes up/sticks out farther than the plastic part. So, if you don’t move at the rate of molasses then look out, you will cut your face. That being said, I do like how the handle part itself is thicker. I’ll be sticking with the other brand I use…

  11. Useful for saving on use of paper towels, been using this set for a few months now [about 2-4 uses per day, no particular distribution of wear and tear] without issue.Running water tends to deflect off them unless they are submerged and squeezed intentionally, but they absorb small spills ok [even if it takes a pass or two to get it all].They tend to have little bits of lint, hair, etc get tangled up in the fibres, which does not come out in a normal laundry wash cycle but thus far its not more than a minor issue [unless you are using it on tech, as these stuck fibres can and will come off during use, so it might not be the best choice for sensitive work like cleaning computer components].They are mostly soft, but I find they feel dry? Its a weird feeling, like how sensitive skin gets after washing dishes with soap too long, but its not nearly as uncomfortable as that.Yeah. Not much else to say, they are general use cleaning cloths that do their job well and are cost effective [at least this batch has been, your mileage could vary]

  12. I purchased both the micro fiber towels to see which one I prefer. Its the size of the large label I’m not liking. Why so big? What purpose does it serve? I’m sure some people will think this is petty because the towel is a good product and I’m not using so many paper towels and that is my goal. I can and will cut it off. I bought face clothes from Amazon basics and I have the same issue with that darn huge tag. So will purchase from someone else and hope the quality is there. Love the return policy.. I will not return them just will not reorder them. One other concern. The Amazon towel says not to put in the dryer. The other one says dry on low heat. I’m not thrilled to have to hang them to dry.

  13. Household trash from kitchen area. After starting to use product it should be noted that 3 out the first 15 used did not have vertical side seam on one side. When pulled out of the box and unfolding it was determined after looking at other bags the side seam had not been sealed. When first one was discovered it was thought to be a fluke. After pulling 2 more out today with the same issue I am not sure on how to proceed. Please advise any questions.

  14. I like these garbage bags. They are strong and let’s face it…. Reasonably priced.

  15. Long enough to fit the full length from top to bottom of my panties. However, they are wider than my panties. So I trim off those side edges. Easy peasy. Then that top ends are almost fine. The top one doesn’t tickle. But the back edge did. So I trim that edge off too. Now…NOW….they are perfect. They are very, very soft. Softest ever, really. And I have used every brand. I have others, lighter and heavier of other brands. But these are my everyday, I’m home all do working at my own desk favorite of all time. The price is right. The length is perfect. The softness is a blessing. And the absorbency meets my daytime at home right near a potty needs. Even with a sneeze. Which will send me to it…it relative safety. Thus, these Amazon Basics Daily Pantiliner, Extra Long Length, Unscented, 68 Count are most definitely my new goto favorite can’t live without them panty shields. And this is from someone who is vows she is using them for tinkle purposes 🙂

  16. I probably live under a rock because I hadn’t ever heard of these things. But, they popped up one afternoon and it was the solution I had no idea I needed. Because I’m getting old, my face is growing nice little peach fuzz, and it’s depressing, but I digress. They were so incredibly easy to use! They removed my peach fuzz but also did a great amount of exfoliation and my face feels like a million bucks. I am hooked for life.

  17. I’ve bought these several times. Good basic trash bag that doesn’t break and inexpensive.

  18. I have bought these Amazon Basics batteries MULTIPLE times now over the years (both AA and AAA types). I like to have a bulk stock of batteries at home, especially with an 11 month old and all of her countless toys. I originally bought these because of the low price, but I keep buying them because of how well they work compared to the bigger brand name batteries. These are fairly priced, come neatly packaged and without damage, last as long as any Duracell or Energizer battery, and consistently provide good results for me. Obviously, their longevity also depends on the electronic I put them in, how much power it needs, and how often I use it. I don’t have anything negative to say about these bulk batteries by Amazon. If you are in the market for a bulk set of batteries that are comparable to the more well-known brands at a fraction of the price, I HIGHLY recommend buying these! They are a staple product in my home that I have reordered many times.Hope this helps!

  19. I loved the size of this product. The blades are very sharp and seem to last long so far out of the pack I’ve only used one. I can also use on hair extension and lace. Would recommend 10/10

  20. I just use these on my sensitive face dry with a light hand. Especially along the jawline to chin and upper lip. I use this almost daily but with a very gentle hand and for me not on wet skin. My face is very smooth.

  21. For the first time using a dermaplain tool, these were a success. My skin definitely feels a lot softer and more soft.

  22. These are long & wide enough to protect the sides of your panties. Good Absorbency. The adhesion is perfect! It’s along the entire bottom of the pad & it stays in place. Not just a couple strips that end up twisting and free floating in your chones! Ladies, you know what I mean. You won’t have that, what’s that on the floor, moment. IDK 😒 but that’s not mine! As ALL the women scatter lol 😂

  23. These are meant to be, and are, minimally absorbent, but work ok for very light incontinence, at a manageable cost. It would be nice to have a slightly more absorbent option. The biggest con for these liners is their length.. why can’t manufacturers make “long” liners actually long, let alone the so-called “extra-long”? These are just slightly longer than the way-too-short regular length ones.

  24. Got these as a cheaper alternative to the BIC razors. Great quality and price. They are a lot sharper than the BIC ones

  25. Muy buena durabilidad, gran precio.

  26. Good strong bags and fit the can well. Will buy again.

  27. The pack has quite a bit of batteries for a great price. The batteries work well and have been lasting pretty well.

  28. Reply
Carol best tall kitchen bags I have ever brought!!
    April 24, 2024 at 12:00 am

Love these bags, used mostly in kitchen, but great for everything. Have never broken one and I fill up really full!!

  29. Does a great job on peach fuzz.

  30. I have tried all sorts of batteries. I have tried all the rechargeable ones that at first will make you think these are the best to use, but with each charge they lose their to last as long as the first time or maybe it is just me ??? We all know other brands are just not that great at all, except for Duracell right ??? Not really and they seem to always be expired when you get them. You just can’t seem to win. Then Amazon, you say wll I’m buying a generic brand maybe, but then you get some and you pleasantly find out “This is the Battery I should have gotten so long ago!” Just figures huh?

  31. We have re-ordered several times. We use a new bag every day due to cleaning out cat litter box. Sturdy — no tears. Satisfied.

  32. So I needed batteries and decided to give these a try instead of the usual big name brand batteries I’ve used for years. And I will now be buying this brand from now on! Not only are they a much better deal than the big-name brands, but they work just as well – same quality, same durability, same lifespan.Save money and get the same quality – don’t need to say more?

  33. So I got an open box TV at best buy that had a bunch of smudges on it. The workers there assured me they would clean it properly. After it was packaged and arrived to my home, I was shocked by all of the smudges and fingerprints on it. Apparently they did not do a good job of cleaning it. I then went on Amazon in search for a microfiber cloth that could clean my TV in hopes it could at least somewhat resemble a brand new TV. To my surprise, once I started applying this cloth to the TV, the smudges literally all vanished! This left my used TV looking completely as if brand new which I wasn’t expecting at all. I just wish I took a before and after picture, but I had no clue I was going to end up doing a review on this thing.I also quickly wanted to mention what amazing value this pack is since you get 24 or more cloths in them depending on the option you choose, and for so cheap. I ended up giving 5 each to my family members to clean their TV/smartphone/iPad screens and we’re all happy.I do recommend using a few drops of distilled water on the cloth for cleaning TV screens if the cloth itself is insufficient since undistilled water or chemicals can leave residue and/or damage the film on the screen. In my case, the cloth ended up being sufficient for cleaning my screen.

  34. These are so much better than the ones I get at the local drug store. And a better price! They and sharp so be careful!

  35. I bought these to help me keep my car clean. After washing the car I always find I need something more than just the blow dryer the car wash offers. These work perfectly as they absorb most of the leftover water and help keep the car’s pain shiny and clean. I would suggest removing the tags from the towels as the material they are made of is scratchy and could damage the paint. I might also suggest if you care about what your towels look like after a few uses purchasing in a darker set of colors. Other than those minor things they are a great product.

  36. I’ve only bought the top brand of panty liners for many years however, was unable to find the unscented ones and purchased these. I was pleasantly surprised that I LIKED THESE BETTER! because they are made of a dry material the big brand I used had a sort of plastic-like top if you ladies know what I mean. These are cotton and drying which women appreciate in that area. Therefore, I have a new brand!!

  37. The pantyliners are long and absorbent. They stick like they should to your underwear. I am not allergic to them. They are a great price.

  38. The quality was equivalent to the brand names, and you can’t beat the price. In fact, I wound up buying another one by mistake, but their expiration date is so far in the future, I’ll still be able to use them. Just not sure what MY expiration date is! Maybe I can leave them for my next of kin.

  39. These are comfortable and light. Not for period days but just light spotting days or everyday. I’m currently pregnant and I spot randomly so these are perfect. They are also very affordable. I got irritated in the stores because I kept buying panty liners and they’d be too thick or uncomfortable. Glad to find these.

  40. We keep a battery bank of all the most used batteries that we need year round. Each Spring, we do an inventory of sorts so that we can make sure that we have what we need.We definitely needed AAA batteries more than any other kind of battery. We purchased a bank of 36 Amazon Basics. I was shocked that we had used so many the previous year. I also cannot believe how inexpensive the Amazon Basic Batteries are. But I know good they are, they have a 10 year shelf life, and besides them being AAA, they are also 1.5 Volt. These batteries also have the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which means that they have been made with chemicals that are safer for human health, and the environment. Besides this compliment, they are very easy to install into the battery bay. They fit perfectly, because they have too for the battery to work. They are extremely versatile, and the fact that they are Amazon Basics, means that they are the best.

  41. These batteries are proving to be quite the reliable companions in my battery box. While I haven’t tested their longevity yet, they seem sturdy enough for my needs. I decided to give them a shot after finding them at a great price on Amazon. Having a fully stocked battery box is a small but essential pleasure, and these batteries are helping me keep the power flowing without breaking the bank.

  42. Finally found just the right size as a panty liner. They are also odorless, a BIG plus!

  43. We had a lot of these batteries and they did great for the mostpart. However lately we’ve noticed that if you leave these in something unused for a while, you will have an acid leak. I had these in a flash for a camera and it sat for months, when I went to change them the battery box was green.
