  1. These markers are awesome! Let me preface this by saying, I bought these more of a filler item to get free shipping. I figured I could use markers for something, and it seemed to be a good value. Well let me tell you, I started to doodle with these and I just couldn’t stop. You get an amazing variety of colors with this set, enough to handle just about anything you or your kid wants to draw. The fact that you can use it as a fine point marker, or wide edge makes these better than most others in the market too. I seriously feel like a kid again with these, thinking about what I could draw and color next. The markers are very vibrant, and have good coverage. For under 5 bucks, this is a must-buy for any kid, or any one who’s a kid at heart :)Also: I still suck at coloring inside the lines

  2. I use this for stamped image coloring. I use stamping up ink mostly with these as well as using them to put down water for my water color pencils.Pros~~~~~~Easy to fillNo leaking thus fareasy to squeeze out more watercolors seem to come off easily (inks)Very nice to use with water color pencilsWorks great on the Ranger Craft Sheet (which just wipes clean) I put down some water to mix my water color pencilsEasy to control amount of water coming outNice different tip sizesGets into detailed area pretty easily if you have a steady handEasy to storeShipped quickly & packaged well. Was cheaper then buying at the craft store.Easy for kids to use as well.Cons~~~~~~If you are using the ink lid to pick up color, it can be very hard to get enough color. The colors seem to be very light-so if you want bold color better off going with water colored pencils then these brushes. However, you can use these to put down the water first then use the water color pencils. My View~~~~~~~~Overall I’m very happy with these brushes. They are fun to use & easy to control.Really love the 3 tip options.

  3. I ordered these brushes as a way to more easily paint tattoo flash style paintings (instead of spit shading) and I was always curious how these pens actually work. They are easy to fill from the sink, but I think if you tried to fill these on the go you would need to bring some sort of squeeze bottle with a fine tip to fill these without making a mess. They do hold enough water that I only needed to fill it twice while doing a sheet of 9″ x 12″ flash and I think most of the water that I used was while I was cleaning the brush between colors. It’s easy to clean the brush while your painting. All I did was keep a piece of paper towel handy and squeeze some extra water through the brush while touching it to the paper towel. This is also handy when you want a bit of a dryer brush. Swipe it on the paper towel a few times and you’re ready to go. It doesn’t hold onto colors or transfer and the only thing that stained it a little was red paint.I used these brushes with both traditional watercolor paint in a tube and with watercolor pencils and they work great with both. I do prefer the watercolor pencils though because it allows for more control.Don’t squeeze the brush too hard because you will get a big droplet that comes out of the brush. As long as you avoid doing that, you won’t have a problem with big blobs of water on your work. If you were to give this to a kid, their first instinct would probably be to squeeze the heck out of it, but you need to squeeze very lightly until you see the water travel through the reservoir into the tip of the pen.The cap fits nice and securely and you can actually store it on the end of the pen and stand it up right on the flat bottom of the cap.I ordered the pack of 3 and it gives a nice variety of sizes. I find myself using the smallest one the most.Overall, I’m very happy with these brush pens. Only time will tell how well they hold up, but so far so good.

  4. Extraordinary brush set! I am just starting out with watercolors, and these are fabulous brushes. They hold a tip quite nicely, even after vigorous washing and painting. The brushes seem to be made with a quality synthetic material. Oddly, when my brushes first arrived, they came clear but with an oily feel to the brushes. Perhaps this was to help the brushes keep their tips. Anyways, I find that I am able to get a nice variety of strokes by only using these three brushes. The smallest brush has a very fine tip and allows me to paint fine details. In terms of standard brush sizes, the small is about a size 1 round; the medium, a 4 round; and the large, about an 8 round. In general, these brushes are quite easy to use and clean. To transition between colors, I just squeeze out some water from the water tank and swish the brush tip on a napkin until the tip turns clear and no traces of the previous color are left (this takes hardly any time at all, maybe a few seconds). However, I wish I could deduct half a star for the water control. I find that it is sometimes difficult to control the opacity created with these brushes as the water comes out in fluctuating amounts. Thus, I find it difficult to get an even wash with these brushes, even the large brush (although, it’s usually quite hard to achieve an even wash even with a quality synthetic or sable size 8 round). However, you can keep the water pressure under control most of the time with sufficient practice and by lightly gripping the brush. Lastly, I noticed that the tips can get stained from certain pigmented colors, such as Viridian Hue from W&N. However, this didn’t prove to have any affects on colors used afterwards. Also, I noticed that if you squish the water tank too hard, water will leak from the ferrule. In conclusion, these brushes are quite nice and convenient for traveling. I would highly recommend them to beginning artists or lazy artists who don’t want to wash their brushes properly :). However, I find the variating opacity too inconsistent for professional work.I hope you find my review useful! I’ve also attached some photos for size comparison to a standard pencil and my first 2 paintings with these brushes.-Kelly (a person who actually bought these brushes at full price)

  5. An excellent variety of color. The tips are versatile for fine point or medium point. The marker is a good quality with a large amount of ink- they will last a while – unlike some brands – these are made to last.

  6. I purchased this product on a whim while I was ordering other supplies. It looked like it might be something fun to play with and add some ‘pop’ to my ink drawings. And, it didn’t fail!! Smooth flowing ink. Lively colors! Fun to blend and easy, if you keep the colors in manufacturer’s order. The numbers printed on the pens aren’t consecutively numbered. If you mess them up it’s difficult to find your half tones. I solved this simply, by numbering them my way. Definitely a good value

  7. Amazing! This product from my Arteza is just wonderful. It does not smell like other products, it dries very quickly and has very vibrant colors. When I got them, I instantly tried them on several tiny mandalas, and the diameter of each Mandala is 2 1/2 inches. As you can see from the pictures that I have uploaded, the tip is delicate enough to color in those fine lines and in between those fine lines. If I have enough money, I think I will buy the 120 or the 72 of this set because this is a wonderful value and a non-toxic product. So far, I have used it on my other projects, and I think that it is great for beginners and amateur artists.

  8. I like these overall. Great color and tip can draw thin or thick lines. My only complaint is that the writing on the marker becomes sticky as you use and gets on you fingers a bit.

  9. My wife got these to do art with and she was disappointed when a couple of markers were not working/dried out. She contacted the company and they replied wanting to know which markers were bad. I provided the required info and forgot about it assuming they would send out replacement pens. Well today I got home and was confused at the package that was there, wasn’t expecting a package so I opened it up and seen a new set of pens, not just the ones that were not working but all of them! Cudos Arteza! Wonderful customer service and thank you for going above and beyond for your customers. You made a customer for life today.

  10. I love Arteza and have been wanting to try these for months now. Finally caved in and bought them and was not disappointed. The range of colours is fantastic and these are ALL mine and NOT for sharing! HahaIt is worth spending the extra and getting a quality set, in my opinion. But I wouldn’t spend out on these for the children, without sounding mean. They are definitely more for artists or those serious about colouring and creating. If you aren’t fussed and just want some colours then opt for a cheaper set. There are plenty of other good quality cheaper pens like staedtler for example. You don’t need to splash out. These are like a Tesco Finest of pens. These are just amazing!!! Highly recommend.

  11. La selección de colores es hermosa, los ocupo para dar detalles a cosas que punto en gouache o acuarela. Estoy muy satisfecha.

  12. This little cheap waterbrush is good value for your money. Beside Using it as a watercolor brush with continuous wetness, I do use it to add water to my color pan, straightly as a water source. It works out for my purpose so far. This brush has been working well with watercolor pencils and also watercolor paint. You cannot go wrong for the price. I am not sure that you will gain much by spending more money on those relatively more expensive water brushes. I do plan to add a Large water brush later.

  13. One of the markers was completely dry and some of the others were really faint, drying out. I emailed the seller, got ZERO response. I contacted Amazon and got refunded.

  14. Me encantan! Son muy versátiles desde líneas súper delgadas hasta manchas contundentes

Nice ink flowLight washInk isn’t too dark or lightSmaller ink compartment compared to other aquabrushes

  16. Good color group of thin ink pens. Colors match the ink brushes for use outlining.Colors are varied and well made. Only real complaint is markers don’t have color and color number marked on each pen to make them easier to match colors with the ink brush pens. Metal container is nice with two removable trays.

  17. Bought these for the granddaughters and those felt posters for them to color. They work perfectly and last a very long time IF taken care of.

  18. I use these along with acyrilic to paint canvas they work good

  19. Produto chegou dentro do prazo, em boas qualidades. Recomendo!!

Edit to my review below: I was contacted by the seller and offered a full refund. I have never had a problem with any other Arteza product.Needed fine point markers for detail work. These were on sale prime day. Unfortunately 15 of them arrived nearly dried out and not usable. Edited to include that I just checked the price today and it is $4 LESS than I paid on prime day!!

  21. Nice colors in this marker set. They’re washable, so they will bleed if the paper gets wet, but the trade off is that I have easily and completely washed marker mishaps out of clothes, tablecloths and other fabrics. Great price/value, too.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  22. Awesome alternative to CrayolaPerfect for the little ones who are just understanding how to take care of markers and learning how to color

  23. This is my second set. I love the colors and how well they write.

  24. The kids loved them. Thank you

  25. Tienen un gama de colores excelente, escribe. Suave y tienen buen pigmentacion

  26. I was reccomended this brand and product by my artist friend who swears by these. She was right because theres seriously no other pens like these! They work really well and the quality for the price is unmatched. Would very much reccomend!

  27. I really love this brand. The colors are vibrant and each is unique in this set. The fine tip makes them perfect for tiny writing and itty bitty detail. The triangular barrel gives them a good grip and keeps them from rolling off my writing surface. I only wish I had bought the bigger set!

  28. Needed these for a lightweight and easy to use/easy to clean solution for backpacking. Great quality

  29. Wonderful for keeping in my purse along with a tin of watercolors and a small sketch pad. I’ll probably order another set sometime soon. It’s interesting – the brush tips do stain, but that color does not affect the use of another color at all. So they really do clean easily with a squeeze of water and a sponge or paper towel.
