  1. So one of my Nest Smoke alarms alerted me that i needed to change the batteries after three years and they recommend using Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries for replacement. I honestly was surprised by the cost when I looked at my local store but was able to pick up this twelve pack at a great price so that I could change out the batteries in both of my smoke detectors. I can recommend these batteries as they lasted more than three years and I use the smoke detectors night light feature constantly. I will be back for more in 2022, but you don’t need to wait that long.

  2. Energizer AA Lithium Batteries: $13.53 for an 8-pack at the time of reviewI never used to buy Lithium AA batteries. They’re pretty expensive per cell, and with the advancements in rechargeables, I’d rather buy something I can reuse some 1500 times before I have to recycle it. But… In the last 10 years or so, a new class of device (many of which connect to the internet) has come along that has higher power demands. Things like internet-connected smoke detectors and door locks have a demand that outpaces Alkaline and NiMh batteries. So for those things, I turn to Energizer Lithium.*What I liked*:I said it once already and I’ll say it again. These are the gold standard of AA batteries. I keep a regular supply in my house as I have no less than 4 gadgets that use them. The bad news is that they are spendy but the good news is that they last a long time. I get an average of 3 YEARS out of a set of 6 in my Nest smoke detectors. I tried normal Alkaline AAs and they didn’t quite last 8 months. That’s a huge difference.*What I didn’t like*:I have two complaints about these and they are both minor. The first is about the price. The cheapest I can find them for is on Amazon and that is still $1.69/battery (in the 8-pack). They can be had cheaper if you buy the combo pack w/ AAA batteries, but I don’t have any high-drain AAA devices so it’s a waste for me.The second complaint is that they are harder to recycle. I have to include them in my hazardous waste recycling, which I have to take on my own to the recycling center. A little added hassle, but not by much when I’m going there anyhow.*The Bottom Line:*These batteries are fantastic. Full stop. They do cost more, but boy do you get what you pay for. Add my voice to the chorus of over 25000 5-star reviews. These are the BEST around. So, it’s unsurprising that my score is five stars out of five. I re-buy these whenever I need more.

  3. 5 Month Update:One of my Blink XT2 cameras went offline and stayed offline for 2 days. Assuming that the batteries died a premature death, I took out my ladder, got the camera down, and opened it up. One battery read 1.65 volts and the other read 1.64 volts so neither were dead but both are down .1 volt from their starting voltage. I placed them back in the camera and it came back online. This does not seem to be a battery issue at all, apparently the camera just needed to be power cycled. Hopefully this will not be a recurring issue.Original Review:I had an immediate need for only 2 batteries in a Blink security camera, but since I have other cameras that were all set up at the same time, it made sense to buy an 8 pack. I have used EBL rechargeable AA and AAA batteries for years, and these are nicely discounted compared to Energizer, so I thought I would give them a try.I really like that these come in a reusable hard case to store the remaining batteries until I am ready to use them. In the past I have bought battery cases like this separately and they aren’t exactly expensive but it is very nice to have one included.Because of some mixed reviews, the first thing I did when I got these batteries is test them with my multimeter. Seven out of the eight measured 1.75 volts, with the eighth one measuring 1.74 volts. That’s as close to perfect as anyone can expect.Only time will tell how long these last, so I can’t comment on that yet. If they don’t last as expected, I will be sure to come back and update my review.

  4. Es un buen producto

  5. Pilas que seguramente durarán mucho a diferencia de las alcalinas las de litio son más duraderas y potentes para aparatos electrónicos

  6. Good value and quality

  7. Although I have only experience with energizer lithium batteries, and have used those only two times in the past in the same piece of equipment over the past eight years. These I bought last spring, and they were dead by November are not strong enough to send the signal to the receiver.I have purchased from EBL before, and I am quite satisfied with the rechargeable batteries and the charger that I got, and it charges other rechargeable batteries that I had, other than lithium. So I don’t know so much as it’s a bad product from a bad company as it is a bad product that was produced from a company that I consider reliable.obviously, I tried them because they were so much cheaper than the energizer lithium batteries.I’m afraid to try them again because it’s kind of difficult to get the equipment down in order to change the batteries and I have to have help doing it.I will update if I order from them again the same product once I know if it was a bad batch sent out.

  8. I have Nest smoke detectors. Was using Duracells for a few years, I would have to change each unit once a month since the batteries only last a month. I thought this was normal. I changed to these Utimate Lithiums and OMG, I last changed the batteries about 2 years ago. Yes, 2 years ago and they’re still going.

  9. Had these in a blink camera. Only lasted about a month. Any batteries don’t last as long as they used to.

  10. They honestly work better than any other I’ve used. Last the longest in my auto deadbolt.

  11. The whole purpose of buying Lithium batteries is for them to 1. work, and 2. last a long time. I put 48 of these in six remote controlled window shades, and all the shades worked perfectly. But I won’t have a clue to their longevity until I have had them for years. They came on time and they were expensive, as you expect with Lithium batters.

  12. [Update: February 28]Customer service reached out to me. They very kindly asked what my issue is and they promptly corrected it. I was fine chalking it up as “current day retail” and was given EXCELLENT customer service. The kind of service I haven’t seen since the twenty-teens. I got two really good batteries out of the deal as well (which I actually feel bad about). If their other stock is similar to the 2 good batteries, they will have a customer for life. Although, the pack I purchased on sale was less than stellar…I’m going to give them another chance and buy again. I have the name brand arriving very soon. However, I plan on getting another 8 pack while I have the name-brand on hand. Just in case. (Trust but verify)Now I’m unsure how to rate this. [?] I doubt anyone even reads this or cares. I care, though. And if it helps anyone make a decision then that’s just super! So here goes…5 HUUUGE golden stars for customer service/satisfaction. I’m very pleased they even cared enough to contact me. (I didn’t complain to them)2 sad little stars for overall battery performance out of the 8 batteries I received. I hope it’s just a crazy anomaly and this isn’t a typical experience. I will update again when I buy a new pack.5 gigantic, too bright to look at stars for the 2 odd batteries that actually performed. ..and performed amazingly well through both very cold and hot temps.Hmm, I think a total of 3.5 to 4 stars is fair for this particular transaction. I’ve never cared enough to do a review like this before. That says something about how I feel after my conversation with customer service. Thanks, EBL![End of Update][Original unhappy review]Saving $5 is going to end up costing me more than just going ahead and getting the name brand. What’s weird is two batteries have actually gone pound for pound with the Energizers the other six have not. Not even close. Why is this?[End of sads]

  13. I’ve used these in trail cameras and flashlights stored in my truck during the coldest Minnesota winter days. These have continued to perform even when temps get down to 20 below zero F.They seem to last a really long time too. They are more expensive but for tough cold weather applications they are worth it.

  14. I used two batteries on my Amazon Doorbell and they failed after 8 weeks. The temperature they operated in was between 10 F to 70 F.Well working range per spec.EDIT:The seller contacted me and resolved the issue! I would recommend them and will shop again from them!

  15. These batteries always surprise me with the power they have. They typically last up to two years before failures occur. In this instance we are using them for multipurpose smoke detectors and alarms.

  16. The 40 AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries were delivered on the same day they were ordered. They were in new, unopened OEM packaging. I was a bit surprised when I did not receive a 40-pack of batteries, but two18-packs and one 4-pack. Still 40 batteries all with date codes of 12-2048. I am very satisfied!!

  17. I’ve tried a few other brands but these still power my camera flashes longer than other batteries. And I can’t afford to run out of power when I’m on a shoot.

  18. Long lasting battery for our blink cameras! Tried to cheap out last year with regular non lithium batteries, but they just drain so much quicker than the lithium batteries.Bite the bullet, but these and replace less batteries.Plus have a happy wife since the batteries don’t die after 6 months.

  19. A better value bulk pack than I can find at Walmart or anywhere else.

  20. I like these lithium batteries a lot. They are truly long lasting batteries. Much longer than alkaline. However, they are getting expensive. I purchased some other Lithium batteries for a lesser price and I’m in the process of testing their longevity.

  21. The only reason we need to buy lithium batteries is for our Blink cameras. We replace the batteries a couple times a year per camera. They last a while if you ride that fine line between moderate sensitivity to save battery life and safety that it’ll pick up movement. They’re good batteries and have never corroded or had problems even with a lot of heat (outdoor cameras, Florida sun). They’re expensive but Energizer has the monopoly on good lithium batteries so I guess they can charge what they want because people need to buy them for the Blink cameras.

  22. We learned the hard way our outside cameras only work for 7-10 days with regular batteries. We called the manufacturer only to be told we must use lithium batteries. So far the cameras are still working. I recommend you read I did the battery box to see if these are required. Or just get these for longer lasting batteries. They are very good batteries.

  23. Got these for Blink cameras. Tried cheap Chinese lithium with no luck. These aren’t cheap, but last a lot longer.

  24. Worth the money. Love these long lasting batteries 🥰

  25. Work really well, not worth the cost, just overpriced. Better than other brands, as they last about 25% longer. I just can’t get over the cost and how much the prices change throughout the year. When and if you find these at their best sale price, buy what you need for a long time as then they are worth it 🙂

  26. I’ve used these in a variety of devices with a consistent result: They don’t last very long. They’re rated at 3000 mAH but didn’t last as long as my 2500 mAH NiMH rechargeables. They cost more than the NiMH, and since they can’t be recharged they’re a poor value, IMHO.

  27. 100% satisfied

  28. Long life battery use in my thermostats and remotes.

  29. Will buy again

  30. Batteries are operating like they should. I bought a camera with them included and the batteries were already dead. Ordered these, installed them today. The camera came back up. Waiting to see how long they last.

  31. Best price on the internet. Shipping is always fast and the batteries are new and work well.

  32. Las uso para el motor de mis persianas eléctricas

  33. Spend the extra for these. They last 5 times longer than regular energizers. I use them in my blink cameras. I’ve got multiple cameras going on 3 years with this original battery.

  34. This is my second go round with this type battery. Used in my trail camera which is on for extended periods of time. First set of eight lasted 2 plus years. Hoping for the same from this set. A bit pricey but worth the cost.

  35. Use these for outside cameras, they last for years with limited use video recording. You dont want to be changing batteries every 6 months.

  36. Wish it had come in one box instead of sets of four. But the price was fair.

  37. Always a good choice for AA batteries, long lasting, powerful, keeps well in storage, reasonably priced.

  38. These guys just won’t die. I get really great life with these batteries. I would buy again!!!!

  39. Longer battery life

  40. These Lithium batteries are relatively long lasting and perfect for use in devices, such as remote cameras, that are hard to reach. There are other less expensive brands on the market, but Energizer’s are more highly rated by users. I haven’t the time nor the inclination to take a chance on the others.

  41. These are reliable for our outside cameras

  42. I have a Blink cameras and door bell which operate on AA. I bought security cameras with these batteries included included and was just notified that the batteries in one camera need replacement… 5 YEARS!!
