  1. Received this item quickly after returning my first purchase that was defective… Have only had my new one for a few days now but it starts up quickly and allows me to do pretty much everything i need to do. It is lightweight yet durable and the key pad is not sticky and is easy to use. Overall this Chromebook is a good product for a good price, so if you’re on a budget this is the way to go!

  2. I wasn’t fully sure what to expect, I’ve never had a chromebook but really needed something that I could take with me on the go to work on my shop updates, work stuff, and school when that starts up. It’s taking some getting used to but I’m loving it so far! Battery life is as expected, I left it on overnight and I still had a full battery the next morning. Touchscreen is responsive. Shipping was STUPID FAST, ordered it Saturday night and received it Monday out here butt-shuck nowhere, Wyoming. So, ya know, impressive. Definitely like a tablet with a keyboard, but it’s so much better than any tablet I’ve used. I have a fire kindle (same thing as a tablet imo. One of those gifts you get and you’re like “ohhhhhhhh, thaaaaankkkkksssss….I’ma never use this. But thank you.” Obviously you never tell them that because that would be rude, so instead it sits in the bookcase with your hard copies collecting dust because you don’t want to get rid of it and have them find out.) and -anyway- this thing blows it out of the park. Feels lightweight but sturdy at the same time, it’s no little biiiish, it feels like it can hold it’s own.

  3. I got this as a refurbished unit. Slight scratch on the cover, but overall in great condition and excellent price. I think overall it’s a solid build, nothing feels flimsy including the keyboard and touchpad. The hardware is mated well to ChromeOS and apps such as the Chrome browser and Zoom run crisp and not laggy. The 15 inch display is the perfect size to handle hours of Zoom classes. Furthermore, the speakers are loud and clear (particulary compared to the HP Chromebook15). Where the cost-cutting was is in the display and it is the biggest drawback of this laptop, but I knew this going in. 780P resolution makes pictures and words a little grainy and the non-IPS display limits the viewing angle. I have to say for the refurb price I got this for, the display is not a deal killer at all and the display makes up for these drawbacks by having very good max brightness. They make an FHD, IPS, touchscreen version of this laptop if you want to spend the extra money, but I think this version suits our needs just fine.

  4. The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 is a huge upgrade from my previous Chromebook and it suits most of my needs. I purchased it because of it’s price and convertible design. The limited internal storage space and poor camera are the biggest drawbacks in my opinion. Depending on what you plan to use his for, this might be a great low cost option. There are a lot of other devices out there in this price range though. I think it’s important to find out what features matter most to you before you decide.Pros:-Low Cost-Convertible Design (My favorite feature)-Good web browsing performance (haven’t had any issues streaming videos or having multiple tabs open)-Good battery life-Ability to install most of the apps available in the Google Play store.Note: Minecraft is not currently available unless you are planning to use the education edition (in case that’s something you were hoping to play) and some apps are not properly optimized to be used in landscape mode (this seems to be an issue with android apps in general, so I don’t fault this particular device).Cons:-Only 32 GB internal storage. 13.3 gb are used by the system. This doesn’t leave much room for installing apps. Maybe I’m missing something, but I haven’t found a way to move apps to the SD card. So far, I’ve only been able to select the SD card as the storage location for downloads within apps. For example, I can tell the Netflix app that I want to store downloaded videos on the SD card.-Camera quality is extremely poor for video calls. It’s dim and grainy. Using extremely bright lighting helps some, but the graininess is still noticeable.-1366×768 Screen Resolution. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but I do notice the lack of a full HD screen more than I thought I would on a screen this size. This may not be an issue for most users.-Heavy/Bulky in tablet mode. I primarily use this as a laptop with a touchscreen that has a keyboard that I can tuck away for watching videos or playing games. That’s what I was looking for, so this works for me. If you are looking for something that is comfortable to use as a tablet, you’d probably be better off getting a 2-in-1 Chromebook with detachable keyboard or a tablet with a keyboard case.Overall, I’m happy with the value and performance of the Acer Chromebook Spin 311. I think I might have purchased something with more internal storage and a better screen if I had to do it over again though.

  5. the speed is the most impressive.

  6. I got this for my 6 year old daughter for her to use Zoom, Facebook Kids, and YouTube Kids. All 3 work 100% fine. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about when they say it isn’t able to stream videos or be used for video chat. There’s been no delays, drops, buffering, nothing. I mean this isn’t a powerhouse of a machine to begin with, but it’s more than adequate for basic video and video conferencing applications. Some of the nice touches are the build quality is sturdy and the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass which makes for an overall quality product. Personally I think it’s a crime that they’re still releasing models in 2020-2021 with only 32gb of storage. With how cheap it is now adays, nothing should come in less than 128gb on a new product. Ram is a little lackluster too at 4gb, but fine for the basic use of a 6 year old.I’d call this a buy if you’re only planning on doing some web surfing, video conferencing, and YouTube.

  7. No frills but very solid for a 15″ laptop under $200. Sold as renewed but came like new. Display quality and speed not top of the line but very good. Comes with a cushioned carrying case I didn’t realize was included at time of purchase.

  8. This purchase was a good decision. The price is fair. I really like the screen size, in my case is useful to read documents. This laptop is light and charges quickly. This is the first time I’ve bought a Chromebook. I did not know much about Chromebooks before, but after reading about their general characteristics and functionalities I decided that this laptop met my requirements.

  9. Arrived fully charged (which I didn’t expect), packed in a tightly fitting air-filled pouch. It had the included thumb drive, a charger and instructions from the vendor on how to return if necessary, and how to leave product reviews. There were no instructions, or a manual, which was no surprise, this being a refurb. I purchased this as an inexpensive upgrade for an old Android tablet that was too small for my needs; not enough room to keep the stuff I want. The tablet took about an hour to get all the stuff I wanted loaded on it, and it seems to be working great so far. Setup was simple, and being fully charged on arrival helped with lessening the feeling of time crunch. You know: the feeling the app won’t load before you run out of battery. There was none of that. My earbuds paired and connected with no drama, and it’s great having an integral keyboard instead of a Bluetooth one. Both touchscreen and touchpad cursor control are available, for whatever floats your boat. I personally suffer from fat finger syndrome, and use a mouse a lot, and that works too. I don’t know why this was refurbished, as I have not found a reason to think it hasn’t always been in good shape. It’s working great for me so far, and the only malfunctions have been my own fault, mostly the above fat-finger comment. It’s worth the money, and if you don’t HAVE to have the “latest and greatest” this will work just fine.

  10. muy buena maquina, deseo facturar como me podrian ayudar?

  11. Needed a replacement laptop for just general use – web and social media browsing, occasional writing. This is perfect. Lightweight, decent responsiveness for web and easy to use document creation. Would like battery life to be a little longer but that’s a small issue and it’s as good as traditional laptops. Figure I saved $400 on buying this instead of even a modestly priced laptop. Couldn’t be happier.

  12. Llego en muy buen estado, la pantalla es táctil y funciona muy bien, me encantó, además llego en menos de una semana 💯♥️✨

  13. The chromebook works just fine and the specs are the same or better than advertised, but it is very clearly not a 2021 model. It is actually a Dell 11.6″ Chromebook 11 3189 from 2018, and I have no idea why thy lied about it, I still would have bought it. I just wanted a cheap Chromebook to watch videos on, with and HDMI port, and that’s what I got, but the deceit just really rubs me the wrong way. The condition of mine is pretty good but certainly not excellent. There is a small imperfection in the display, and the battery shows as 78% health. Both of which I would have expected to be fixed on a truly refurbished product. Additionally the laptop is no longer supported and will not receive updates from google any more, which is also pretty suspect considering its supposed to be 2021 model. Overall I got what I wanted, but I would recommend buying something different given the dishonesty of the description in terms of quality and the actual product.Update: The battery completely died within 3 weeks of purchase. I requested a replacement and they send me another one with 78% battery health out of the box, and it is a 2017!!! Even older than the last one.

  14. The media could not be loaded.  Bought this as a decent backup computer to travel with a nd run my business. On arrival I charged the device fully and powered it on. I noticed food residue on the device and wiped it down fully with Clorox wipes. The fun didn’t stop there, the case was damaged and had loose screws in the back of the device. No biggie I can tighten those up and get to work. I logged into the wifi in my vehicle and tried to connect. This was a child’s tablet from some school. Once past the main wifi and update screens it asked for a password to a school I’ve never heard about. I tried to reset/power wash the system No go. I called support, they wanted to initiate a return instantly. I said let’s try to fix it. Still no go so now I have a 70 Dollar brick and I still can’t send emails on the go like I wanted to. As a claims adjuster this would be nice to have on the go, so I don’t have to bring my 17 inch out on the road for any kind of potential damage. But someone dropped the ball on this one. Not only was it not reset I don’t even think it went through an inspection for it to be in the excellent section of this website. Sorry but this is a fail in terms of use. Let’s see what the next one has to offer before I say forget it and get a refund.

  16. This was a complete FAILURE on Global Certified Authentic’s part. When the product arrived at my door I was highly excited to open it and package it as a gift to my son who is an over the road driver. When I opened the product and inspected the unit I was disappointed to find the following:The casing had a deep scratch on the bottom of the unit. Multiple others all over the device. The charging port was completely useless. It looked as if there was a broken charger snapped off inside the port. The unit would not even turn on.Upon receiving the replacement unit and charging cable, the power supply did not have the proper wattage to charge the device.Again, disappointing 😞 .I contacted the company yet again concerning this issue. I was advised that they no longer had any chargers for the unit in stock and that a refund of only $15 would be provided. Would you please locate me an OEM Dell charger for this device for $15.Well, let me tell you something. The charger that was shipped with the only working unit on the first order which is what was needed for the second cost much more than the amount that was offered as a refund. The product description said excellent condition. These devices are to go through a rigorous refurbishment process to check them for faults to see what has to be replaced or repaired. Failure on Global Certified Authentic’s part. Two orders and two failures. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will steer clear in the future.Amazon should delist them until they get there act together.

  17. Me gustó si funcionamiento

  18. This little Chromebook was perfect for what I needed it for. It ran the apps for work well, but the battery died pretty quickly. No big deal, really. Then on Friday, I got a notice that it was corrupted. I researched Google and they recommended to restart. It wouldn’t let me. Evertime I pressed a button, the warning screen would flash on and off. I tried letting the battery die and then plug it in as a sort of hard set, but it never died. When I plugged in the charger, the light didn’t go on. So it’s dead. And it’s too bad. I am most likely going to get another similar one.

  19. I bought mine for school, used every day for notes and surfing the net. Lots of built-in memory. Chrome OS with Google built in.

  20. I wanted something I could take with me and not have to plug it in to work.

  21. I am very happy with my purchase. It meant every expectation and looked brand new and came well packaged.

  22. I bought this for my grandson, for homeschool. Once it arrived, I took it out of the box and plugged it in. There was FOD all over the keyboard and the laptop would not turn on. Requested a refund immediately. Await for pick up of return tomorrow.

  23. the chrome os is a bit different, but works great.

  24. Arrived in excellent condition, works very well

  25. ***Update: I amended this review from three stars to one star, because a couple of weeks after I posted this initial review, my computer simply stopped working. It will turn on, but I get a plain black screen. With all the other issues I was having, I simply decided this was not worth the hassle and returned it. I will also note that I didn’t mention it in my initial review, but this whole process also included another purchase of the same item that was for some reason flagged as undeliverable during shipping, so I never received that one. It’s just become a massive headache that’s already worth more than $80 in my time and energy, so I opted to simply return the computer. The return process was easy at least, but I will not be buying refurbished electronics on Amazon again.I’m leaving my original review below for posterity.***I bought this computer advertised in “like new” condition for around $75. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but there are a couple things I have an issue with enough to give a 3 star review. They’re not a big enough deal to request a refund (again, $75 computer here…I feel like going through the process of requesting a return/replacement is more of hassle), but not great. If this had been advertised for its actual condition, I still might have bought it, but I’d be giving it a much better rating.Biggest one is that in my “like new” computer, the track pad is wonky. It sometimes catches clicked down in a way I can feel if I click too far to the bottom left, and I have yet to be able to successfully highlight anything because the drag is weird. Neither of these are a huge deal for the way I plan to use this computer (especially because the touch screen does work fine so worst case I just highlight by touch), but it’s less than I expected based on the listing. The other is that my computer arrived dirty, which I wasn’t surprised by as other reviewers have mentioned it, but it was kind of disappointing. I don’t think it was anything particularly gross, but there was a goopy smear on one of the device’s silver-colored hinges that was rather off-putting, along with a spray of dried droplets on the screen. Probably just grease or oil and the residue of cleaner, but let’s just say I cleaned the whole thing thoroughly before I used it.Overall, though, I just needed a really cheap computer to get me through a couple weeks, and this fits the bill. It runs fine other than the trackpad issue, comes with a decent charger, set up easily, all that good stuff. Just, you know, be aware that you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for!

  26. I wanted to get a very simple, affordable laptop for my 8 year old’s first laptop. The price was more than right on this one so I took the chance on it and it turned out very well. It came packaged very well with just the laptop and the charger. No issues whatsoever with the computer itself. The company wraps it in a “skin” that is very good quality and hard to even notice. It might even look better than it does when it’s new with the skin on. It’s a very nice touch. Overall this was just the perfect laptop for my kid to do his homework, play a few little android games and surf the web. I’m sure these will vary in quality and experience but mine was overall very good.

  27. Look brand spanking new to me,KNow why they consider refurbished it was a good price as well

  28. Currently, I’m having such a hard time getting good customer service on this. The power adapter stopped working after 2 months. The Chromebook itself works fine. I’m contacting the seller or sellers (it keeps changing every time I get to the same page which is strange) on the actual product page and no one seems to want to be accountable for their product and help me out. All I ask for is a new power adapter since we know that’s the problem. I plugged in my phone’s USB-C charger based on someone’s comment on the same product page and it charged right up! I don’t want to use this as a long-term solution. I’m not sure if doing this will damage the item. I want to use the adapter that goes with the Chromebook. So far, I DO NOT recommend this seller(s) Tikvah or Tech Express.UPDATE 3/20/2024: It has been 2 weeks and 2 days since the seller has told me that the charger was mailed out (~Mar. 4) and I still haven’t received it! It’s a $20 cord. I’ve messaged the seller Tech Express one more time. Please do some research on the vendor before you buy from them especially if it’s a computer, tablet, laptop etc. You should be able to find more info like positive rating percentage when you click on the right-hand side of the product page close to the top under ‘Sold By’. I can afford the charger but now it’s the principle of the thing.FINAL UPDATE 3/28/2024: I received the power adapter yesterday. It charges up my Chromebook fine. I changed to a 4 star. I do believe that Tech Express was making a good faith effort to replace the charger. Shipping may have been a problem. It’s hard to find good help these days I’m sure.

  29. Bought for school work. Easy to use, love so many of the features! The flip is amazing. Keyboard is great to have. She loves that it is touch screen. Well worth the price!

  30. This refurbished Chromebook looked brand new. The new image burn was fine, and it’s plenty fast enough.Took a while to figure out how Chrome works instead of windows (for example, there’s no right-click for a menu to choose copy/paste) but definitely good for normal stuff like browsing the web.

  31. Probably the best looking refurbished chrome I have ever purchased. I had high expectations for this, and I am happy it lived up.

  32. I wanted a low cost computer that I can use to write my novel on the go. For $80, this gets the job done and more. I got one in Excellent used condition. Out of the box, it felt like a brand new product, with no scratches or any defects whatsoever. The battery life is amazing. I wrote for 6 hours and there was barely any drain. It helps that I don’t have any other processes running except for chrome browser. Touch screen is very responsive and the keyboard/touchpad works great.

  33. good product

  34. I bought this Chromebook May 14th, 2021. I have used it for work, school, watch movies, and playing games. I have had little to no issues since I bought it. I have a single complaint and it’s a tiny one. The camera is very grainy like. I say tiny because I didn’t buy it for the camera. The battery life is still great depending on use. Charge is still quick. Response to things is still fast. I get frequent updates but they don’t interfere with my work in any way. Almost 3 years later and I have no regrets about buying this Chromebook.

  35. It will not download nothing except 10 year old chrome , keys stick its just unreal Amazon would allow this crap to be sold under.the Amazon name

  36. I’ve had it for about a month now and I love it!!! Perfect for office work and kids too…

  37. I bought this to replace my old laptop. I only use it for work purposes really but it has worked great without issues and very user friendly.

  38. Surprisingly good for work or classroom. A little low on memory so can’t have too many tabs open. Camera is just OK for Zoom. This version of ChromeOS can’t be upgraded.

  39. Working good price good

  43. It’s great for what I’m using it for. Small and compact and fast. Not much lag at all. Obviously I’m not playing games on it but for work related things it works fine for me

  44. Shipped well in a substantial bubble wrap pouch. Works like new. Condition of the outside was great. No complaints.

  45. I am totally satisfied with this Lenovo refurbished laptop It’s perfect for what I needed it for and for under $80 I’m getting another for my wife I love the touchscreen capabilities

  46. It works as discribed, durable and protable. It is the perfect size for my 3yr old to do school work on. I like the fact it changes easly from laptop to a tablet in seconds

  47. Buying refurbished, I guessed that I’d receive a laptop with a lot of bumps and bruises. However, this thing is practically brand new! I’m a Chromebook fan and this one is spot on.Everything functions great. The power cord that came with it appears to be brand new.Overall, good value for the price!
