  1. I wasn’t fully sure what to expect, I’ve never had a chromebook but really needed something that I could take with me on the go to work on my shop updates, work stuff, and school when that starts up. It’s taking some getting used to but I’m loving it so far! Battery life is as expected, I left it on overnight and I still had a full battery the next morning. Touchscreen is responsive. Shipping was STUPID FAST, ordered it Saturday night and received it Monday out here butt-shuck nowhere, Wyoming. So, ya know, impressive. Definitely like a tablet with a keyboard, but it’s so much better than any tablet I’ve used. I have a fire kindle (same thing as a tablet imo. One of those gifts you get and you’re like “ohhhhhhhh, thaaaaankkkkksssss….I’ma never use this. But thank you.” Obviously you never tell them that because that would be rude, so instead it sits in the bookcase with your hard copies collecting dust because you don’t want to get rid of it and have them find out.) and -anyway- this thing blows it out of the park. Feels lightweight but sturdy at the same time, it’s no little biiiish, it feels like it can hold it’s own.

  2. The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 is a huge upgrade from my previous Chromebook and it suits most of my needs. I purchased it because of it’s price and convertible design. The limited internal storage space and poor camera are the biggest drawbacks in my opinion. Depending on what you plan to use his for, this might be a great low cost option. There are a lot of other devices out there in this price range though. I think it’s important to find out what features matter most to you before you decide.Pros:-Low Cost-Convertible Design (My favorite feature)-Good web browsing performance (haven’t had any issues streaming videos or having multiple tabs open)-Good battery life-Ability to install most of the apps available in the Google Play store.Note: Minecraft is not currently available unless you are planning to use the education edition (in case that’s something you were hoping to play) and some apps are not properly optimized to be used in landscape mode (this seems to be an issue with android apps in general, so I don’t fault this particular device).Cons:-Only 32 GB internal storage. 13.3 gb are used by the system. This doesn’t leave much room for installing apps. Maybe I’m missing something, but I haven’t found a way to move apps to the SD card. So far, I’ve only been able to select the SD card as the storage location for downloads within apps. For example, I can tell the Netflix app that I want to store downloaded videos on the SD card.-Camera quality is extremely poor for video calls. It’s dim and grainy. Using extremely bright lighting helps some, but the graininess is still noticeable.-1366×768 Screen Resolution. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but I do notice the lack of a full HD screen more than I thought I would on a screen this size. This may not be an issue for most users.-Heavy/Bulky in tablet mode. I primarily use this as a laptop with a touchscreen that has a keyboard that I can tuck away for watching videos or playing games. That’s what I was looking for, so this works for me. If you are looking for something that is comfortable to use as a tablet, you’d probably be better off getting a 2-in-1 Chromebook with detachable keyboard or a tablet with a keyboard case.Overall, I’m happy with the value and performance of the Acer Chromebook Spin 311. I think I might have purchased something with more internal storage and a better screen if I had to do it over again though.

  3. I got this for my 6 year old daughter for her to use Zoom, Facebook Kids, and YouTube Kids. All 3 work 100% fine. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about when they say it isn’t able to stream videos or be used for video chat. There’s been no delays, drops, buffering, nothing. I mean this isn’t a powerhouse of a machine to begin with, but it’s more than adequate for basic video and video conferencing applications. Some of the nice touches are the build quality is sturdy and the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass which makes for an overall quality product. Personally I think it’s a crime that they’re still releasing models in 2020-2021 with only 32gb of storage. With how cheap it is now adays, nothing should come in less than 128gb on a new product. Ram is a little lackluster too at 4gb, but fine for the basic use of a 6 year old.I’d call this a buy if you’re only planning on doing some web surfing, video conferencing, and YouTube.

  4. I’m a Mac guy for the most part. My main computer is an iMac, but I’ve always had a Windows laptop for use when travelling etc (too cheap to buy a Macbook….). My Windows laptop died at a time when I really needed one and I saw this and thought what the heck, I’ll give it a try.I’m very pleased. For online use, it’s absolutely fine. The screen resolution isn’t up to my Mac, but my Windows laptop wasn’t either. I don’t really like that I’m logged on to Google (and being tracked) whenever I use it, but I don’t do anything online that I’d be ashamed of so I guess that’s OK.It was a little bit tricky to get online for the first time, but that’s pretty well documented out on the web, and it was easy to get beyond the issue. Not really anything to worry about. The battery life is very good. Haven’t used the camera, so I don’t know about that. But it’s lightweight and portable and runs plenty fast. I think it’s a very good value.

  5. muy buena maquina, deseo facturar como me podrian ayudar?

  6. I have purchased seven laptop/chrombooks last three years. The PCs have not fared good. One died and another is on its last leg, as the screen became detached from the keyboard. The only one that remains on the PC scale is an 11.6 HP I bought after this one which is super slow and has a poor camera. The Apple is ok but needs a battery. Then I have four chromebooks of different sizes from 11.6 to 15.6. This fits in the middle at 14 inches. The design is slick and very flat. It looks like a mac. It feels lighter than the others which are described as heavier. I think because of the design. It has a white keyboard which is the best thing next to a lit keyboard. I purposely looked for a white keyboard. The computer works fine dependent on what you want to do. I like to do light programming, store and edit pictures, writing, internet, music, movies, and games. It is not a powerhouse but it can do alot more than the HP PC I also got (11.6) for about the same price. This works so much better. It works better than the other chromebooks. The camera is better than the HP PC. But the best thing is the amazing battery life. You will get 12 hours easy. The battery does not drain when closed. Other chromebooks have died after a couple of days of just being closed. Not this one. It uses the same plug for my android. This gives you charging options virtually everywhere.Overall a good purchase. Best Chromebook I got and better than the 11.6 HP PC. The apple beats it of course, but the battery on this one makes up for any glaring deficiences.

  7. I’m a writer and student and use non-MS programs so I could not get a Chromebook. I also needed a laptop so I had a way to write or research when I was travelling. I have a large desktop “work” computer where most of my work is done. I had a similar HP laptop but the keyboard and touch pad went out and I expect that those two things are the weakest link in any laptop. Buy a silicon key cover to make the life of your keyboard last, but these laptops, on average last abut 2-3 years. Another thing that will make the computer last longer is to get a USB mouse to avoid using the track pad.About the only difference between the new and the old HPs was that this had 4G of RAM and the other had 8G of RAM. This Stream is definitely good at not seizing or lurching when you watch a movie or video. The other additive that Microsoft has put on this computer is the “Windows 10-S.” It is easy to get out of, and there is a toggle to change the program to “Windows 11 Home,” which is more capable of evading corporate MS’s iron handed ownership of my computer. The instructions are online and they send a large postcard with the computer which also has instructions. It is just a matter of going into “settings” and changing it.I do not mind the PC and MS “marriage” but I do not want a computer that tells me I can only use their programs which happened with Chromebook. This one is constantly asking (begging) me to turn on my Cloud service, and turn on other MS Programs. I do not do any of that, and I do not want to send my work to the cloud (When I import it into the big machine I will). I like that it has an extra USB port. Otherwise it is pretty basic and reminds me of Chromebook, (which I like but cannot use because of the non-MS proprietary writing programs I use).As far as using it for entertainment or videos, the sound is nice and loud (but not blasting) the picture is great, and it does not buffer endlessly– but that may be my internet service. My overall opinion is “nice.” It is a good computer for Students or Writers who do not want or need to spend $1000 on top of the line equipment. Nope. this is just a “tuck it in the bag and go” type computer.

  8. I have two college students and have bought two of these in the last year. I have been very pleased with the pc and it’s been perfect for both students. They use Microsoft Office through their student accounts online and have not had any issues with any video classes or with different web-based applications. Highly recommend this as an affordable pc. Durable yet lightweight. Works well with wireless mouse and headphones.

  9. hola un saludo el producto me llegó en perfecto estado pero no me llegó el cargador de la laptop de todo lo demás esta bien solo que necesito el cargador para poderla prender y trabajar con ella

So I love this laptop very much from looks to how easy it is to install and uninstall apps. However, it moves laggy if you have too much going on such as windows and apps. Once I took away what wasn’t necessary for me, runs pretty alright.

  11. I under that the computer is refurbished how ever it’s suppose to actually work though. It does turn on but you can’t really use any of the apps as far as movies go. You can’t even use the internet really unless downloaded an app for that but even then it has error messages pop up all the time. Waste of money I bought this computer for business needs but I can barely do lil stuff with it so do not purchase find yourself something brand new

  12. Was suppose to be pink with a white keyboard, was all pink was very difficult to see the letters and numbers. But it runs well so didn’t want to return it. I bought a keyboard cover so I could see the keys. But they did send me the wrong one. So watch out

  13. This was a refreshed laptop. It arrived in excellent condition – no scratches or dents – like new. The setup was easy – runs great – has great battery life and great value. It’s not a speed demon but for browsing the web – email and social media it’s perfect.

  14. This is just what I’ve been looking for. It is lightweight and intuitive to use, fast clear picture and sound. Perfect for my needs and an excellent price. I’m very satisfied and also very glad that I waited and kept looking until just the right Chromebook for me came along.

  15. got this for my child who needs a computer to do school work on. so far so good. we streamed classes on it today, and had no problems. i like how it’s so basic and i can set the parental controls on it; since my child will be using it for school

  16. Don’t buy this product. It is very basic. I return this item because I work from home and the software that I need could not be installed into this computer because this computer did not support it and I tried to return the item and I was charged a $96 restocking fee and the seller said my item was damaged and hacked dense please read define print because they’re gonna take your money

  17. Bought for school work. Easy to use, love so many of the features! The flip is amazing. Keyboard is great to have. She loves that it is touch screen. Well worth the price!

  18. My daughter uses this for school, research and online gaming.

  19. good product

  20. I bought this Chromebook May 14th, 2021. I have used it for work, school, watch movies, and playing games. I have had little to no issues since I bought it. I have a single complaint and it’s a tiny one. The camera is very grainy like. I say tiny because I didn’t buy it for the camera. The battery life is still great depending on use. Charge is still quick. Response to things is still fast. I get frequent updates but they don’t interfere with my work in any way. Almost 3 years later and I have no regrets about buying this Chromebook.

  21. I bought this to replace my old laptop. I only use it for work purposes really but it has worked great without issues and very user friendly.

  22. Amazing quality and just what my college student was looking. lightweight and sleek and has all the accommodations already installed. I’m so glad we made this purchase.

  23. I love the colour and how compact it us

  24. It’s great for what I’m using it for. Small and compact and fast. Not much lag at all. Obviously I’m not playing games on it but for work related things it works fine for me

  25. I purchased this HP Chromebook 14 for one of my granddaughters, and she loves it! She is almost 14, and she carries it wherever she goes! It works excellently, and it is exactly what she wanted! I am pleased because she is pleased! Thank You, HP and Amazon!

  26. My school wouldn’t provide a laptop for the cricut we use in Student Congress. I didn’t want the students on my personal one, but this was not expensive and it is working perfectly for that primary use.

  27. got this to replace my old one and it works like a dream for streaming and research but not gaming
