  1. Our 13yr old daughter wanted this so bad, as her friend has one! She used some of her own money and has no regrets! Her and her sister(14 yr old) use it every school day!! It takes exactly 4 1/2 mins to cook! Just enough time for them to get dressed!! They both LOVE it! I personally love that it is small, does not take up a lot of counter space, super easy to clean!! I gotta admit this is a LOVED product in our house!!

  4. I am a senior who has to cook for two, and there is little I hate doing more than cooking. I suppose I could be good at it if I enjoyed it, but I heavily depend on my Ninja Foodi to throw things together for dinner. My partner, who doesn’t want to be bothered with anything, microwaves his lunches, and it’s your typical over-priced, over-processed stuff that creates a ton of plastic trash. Also, I just don’t like the way food cooks in a microwave so I avoid it myself. So I watched YouTube videos of people using this little egg sandwich maker and bought a Kindle book with recipes. So much advice from so many people! All say “It takes trial and error to find out what you like.” So I thought I’d just ruin something to take this tidy little machine on a maiden voyage. I brushed a thin layer of olive oil on the rings and griddle parts before I cooked my first sandwich. We haven’t bought muffins or bagels yet, but I did buy a set of stainless steel cookie cutters that has a 4” ring in the set so I can cut bread or tortilla or other circles. But when the cooker came, I was too excited even to fool with that. I cut a piece of that wide rye bread with the rounded edges in half to make one sandwich, fully expecting leakage because the bread didn’t extend to the edges of the rings. Put in the bread half, a slice of ham, a slice of cheese; closed down the top ring and cracked in an egg, using an edge of the shell to break the yolk. (I am confused why Hamilton Beach’s instructions say to prick the yolk with a fork, but then says not to use metal utensils because they’ll damage the non-stick coating.) Following advice from others, I didn’t put the top piece of bread on the raw egg until the last minute or so—they say it keeps the bread from having egg soaked into it—but that was probably unnecessary and prevented the top piece of bread from being as toasty as the bottom one.Initial impression: Easy. Tasty. This thing is forgiving as long as you remember to use oven mitts and give your cooked sandwich time to cool down some—especially if you cook it a little too long, as I did. Also, next time I make TWO of these, I’m going to scramble one egg and mix in a few veggies fritata-like, divide it between the two top sandwich rings, then put the cheese on top before putting on the bread instead of putting it in the bottom ring. Or maybe put half a cheese slice on the bottom and half on top. The book I bought with egg sandwich maker recipes does the cheese on top of the egg, and I think that’s a good plan to keep egg out of the bread while ensuring the top and bottom pieces cook evenly.People are nothing but creative with this egg sandwich maker. Just search for Hamilton Beach egg maker on YouTube. My mother used to make a marvelous enchilada casserole she got out of some 1950s magazine: four lightly turned-in-oil corn tortillas in a layer, a layer of chopped onion, a layer of sharp grated cheddar cheese; repeat for two more layers; then top it all off with a can of Hormel or Old El Paso chili without beans and more cheese. I’m going to try adapting that recipe to this egg cooker to make little dinner enchiladas for the two of us. The worst that will happen is that it will make a mess and it won’t cook quite right, but I’m game to experiment. Now I just have to try to wean Robert off his Jimmy Deans, which always seem to be sold out…and he ought to be able to manage it with this cooker.UPDATE: I use this almost every day. Street taco sized tortillas work great in it, the corn ones less well than the flour. The La Banderita flour tortillas curl up the sides a bit and cook to a satisfying crunchiness with sides that help keep the ingredients from sliding around. I make two with real bacon bits and cheese and an egg on top of each, then flip one over on top of the other for a perfect two-egg sandwich. I’m still experimenting with how best to time cooking the eggs so they’re not overdone and rubbery, but this little appliance is great!

  7. The handle does come off pretty easily. Too easily, in my opinion. It likes to fall out even if I’m just moving the can opener around on the counter. The bit that holds the magnet in the handle is plastic and broke on me one day soon after I got it. I can’t imagine how it happened. It’s not like it gets treated rough. It’s just a can opener after all. Still, with a bit of filing and some super glue it’s back in place and still mostly works. The other reviews that mention the magnet being weak are spot on. It barely holds the lid once it’s cut and I often get frustrated with how many tries it takes to get the unit to catch the can just the right way so it will cut.One of the selling features for me was the mention of a knife sharpener. Upon receiving the unit, I noticed it’s a super cheap V style sharpener built into the back of the unit. I wanted it for my pocket knives but the way it’s built in, it’s really only useful for the large kitchen knives. Barely. It doesn’t do a good job and have since just given up on that feature and gone back to the sharpeners that typically come with the knife sets. Heck, the $10 plastic el-cheap-o V style knife sharpener I bought at some bass shop works way better. I have to wonder if it actually has a grinding stone in it, or if it’s one of those “ceramic” bits that turn out to just be plastic. Hard to tell. Not worth the effort to inspect. Pretend it doesn’t exist.Overall, I definitely should have gotten a better one. I thought about getting one for my mom but if hers broke too, I would feel pretty guilty for giving her a crappy gift that reminded her of me every time it disappointed her like mine disappoints me.

  8. Sweet dreams are made of cheese…grilled cheese, technically. This is my first sandwich maker of any sort and let me tell ya, this is life-changing. I just lightly butter some bread, put down some salami and pepperjack, and voila! The perfect toasty. Add a little pesto drizzle when its done and I’m just in heaven. This is so easy to clean as well. The excess cheese just slides off like never was stuck to the surface, and its small with not very complex hot plate textures, so you can’t miss a spot.Cons-Takes an infinity to start up. I feel like I could use a skillet to grill up the bread faster than this thing starts! You plug it in and it just sits there for a few minutes. Then it finally begins to heat up, which takes another 5 or so minutes. I have no idea what it does for the first 3 minutes after you plug it in, and there’s no way to just click a button and force it to start heating up. Thankfully, the perfect little cheese toastie only takes 3 minutes. This also produces a ton of smoke. Make sure you set this bad boy under the stove exhaust if you have one because once the ingredients are in, there’s enough smoke to make Smokey the Bear concerned. It’s not burning the food, though. It’s just a LOT.A little small and doesn’t fit the whole slice of bread. This one is just a nitpick. It takes no effort to pull off the extra centimeter of bread but I would overall prefer not to have to do that.Despite all these cons, I highly recommend this. The cons are mostly trivial inconveniences. At the end of the day, I have an easy and tasty lunch that’s perfect to take on the go with my busy life.

  9. The convenience is unparalleled. As someone with a hectic morning routine, this machine has shaved off valuable time in the kitchen. The design is perfect for making two sandwiches at the same time, which is a game-changer. The timer function is a thoughtful addition, ensuring that my sandwiches are cooked without any guesswork. The removable parts make cleanup easy, and they’re dishwasher-safe, making my mornings even more stress-free. The heating elements work efficiently. It’s a far cry from the soggy, uneven results I used to get with my stovetop attempts. It doesn’t take up much space, making it a practical addition even for smaller kitchens. The machine itself doesn’t have an on/off switch, so you need to plug and unplug it to control its operation. It’s not suitable for making other types of sandwiches or grilled items. Despite this, It’s become an indispensable part of my kitchen

  10. We have tried a few different types of slow cooker this is one of the best. We use it all the time. The size is perfect and it does a great job.

  11. Llegó mucho antes de la fecha esperada, de acuerdo a las especificaciones.Muy útil.

  12. We don’t expect much from appliances these days, unfortunately. There is, in our family, a Turkey roaster from the 1940s that still cooks the bird every year.A toaster oven bought last week fails in 3 years. They don’t make em like they used to, etc,OR DO THEY? Oh boy. Do I got a freaking deal for you. When I bought this on Christmas Day, 2015, fast food was still relatively cheap. Now it is unbelievably expensive. But, you can beat your McMuffin craving by hitting the grocery store and storing the ingredients properly.Eggs last up to a month past the date on the carton (seriously). Put American cheese slices in Tupperware and they will last a month. Butter keeps. Freeze the English muffins if you have to. Freeze the meats as well. Here we go:(Caution, Midwest prices ahead.)Currently egg prices are back down (Jan. 2024)English muffins are $2 to $4 for 6, depending on quality, and they freeze well.Large Amazon competitor grocery supercenter has frozen breakfast sausage patties between $10-$14 for 14 to 20 Patties, (less than a dollar per patty).Canadian bacon at same store? Less than 50 cents apiece (9 slices for $4.18).Stack of 24 American Cheese slices will run 4 bucks. You already have butter/margarine.Not doing any more math. It’s cheap! It’s easy as heck to use! Cleans up great. Lasts forever. I didn’t even really treat mine all that well and here we are, going over my gosh dang grocery list.$35 bucks right now as I post this. I paid $40 for mine. 8 years. Still going. Think on that right quick and buy one. You will not regret it!

  13. Es un excelente producto y con una gran calidad además de un precio inigualable. Logística perfecta y productos bien empaquetados.

  14. Es muy práctico, fácil de limpiar, lo recomiendo

  15. Four months into using the OVENTE 3 in 1 Electric Sandwich Maker, I’ve had a fair share of experiences that paint a vivid picture of this kitchen gadget’s capabilities and limitations. This device, with its promise of versatility and convenience, offers a mixed bag that prospective buyers should consider. The sandwich maker’s compact and portable design is its most striking feature. It’s a boon for those with limited kitchen space or for anyone who appreciates a gadget that doesn’t claim a permanent countertop residence. It can be tucked away easily when not in use, which is a definite plus. However, this compactness is a double-edged sword. The size, while convenient, limits the portion sizes you can prepare. It’s perfect for quick, small meals but might not meet the needs of those looking to prepare larger or multiple servings in one go.The interchangeable plates for sandwiches, waffles, and grilling add a layer of versatility that is commendable. The idea of having one appliance for multiple uses is appealing and space-saving. However, the execution is not without flaws. The plates themselves are disappointingly thin, raising questions about their durability and heat distribution capabilities. Moreover, the hinge mechanism, a critical component of any sandwich maker, started showing signs of wear rather quickly, with a screw breaking after just a few uses. This raises concerns about the overall build quality and longevity of the device. On the positive side, the non-stick cooking surface delivers as promised. It ensures that food comes out easily without sticking, and the cleanup process is straightforward. The plates being dishwasher safe is a convenient feature, although a simple wipe-down is often enough to keep them clean. In terms of performance, the sandwich maker heats up quickly, and the LED indicator lights are a helpful guide. However, the temperature control seems to be a bit of a hit-or-miss. While it can cook various items efficiently, careful attention is needed to avoid overcooking or burning, especially with bread. In conclusion, the OVENTE 3 in 1 Electric Sandwich Maker is a mixed bag. Its compactness, versatility, and ease of cleaning are points in its favor. However, concerns about the build quality, particularly the thin plates and fragile hinges, are significant drawbacks. It’s a convenient gadget for quick meals and small portions, but for those looking for a robust and durable kitchen appliance, this might not be the best fit.

  16. It’s better than a manual can opener.

  17. When I first used it, I had to slam the lever down to get it to stay down. After a few uses, it is working better, now. I don’t know what the lighter settings are for, as I am having to use setting 5 (out of 6) to get a decent toast/color on my bagels. (I bought this toaster specifically for bagels as I have a 70-year-old toaster for toasting regular bread. It works great, but the slots are too narrow for bagels.) The nicest thing about this toaster is that it toasts the bagels so evenly. No light areas, no burned areas. It toasts uniformly across the surface of the bagel. You wouldn’t think that would be too hard to accomplish, but this is the first modern toaster I have had in many years that does such a good job in this respect.HOWEVER, LATER… I finally got around to trying this toaster with, well, toast. That didn’t go so well. The best description I can give is that the toaster seems to be stuck in the ‘BAGEL’ mode. The toast is very well toasted on the side that faces the center heating elements while the side of the toast facing the outer heating elements is hardly toasted at all. I am going to return this toaster, and may order another one, hoping that this one I have may just be defective…

  18. Facil de usar, facil de lavar y es una buena inversión y preparado en casa!!!!

  19. A little slow but no big deal. Without question, you need to break it in with good ventilation as suggested, the fumes were appalling, but after running 6 cycles they were gone. Cord storage built in. A great deal at the price

When my other crock pot took a dive from the top of the refrigerator, and I found that I couldn’t replace the broken insert as they were no longer being made, I tried to make do with a 2nd hand smaller crock pot. All the recipes I’m used to making require a 7-quart crockpot, so I needed a new one. This one was bought during Black Friday and very well priced. The first thing I noticed was that the lid just sat on top of it, it was not locked down as my last had been. I didn’t pay attention to that when I purchased this one, and it was definitely a factor on why this one was so much less expensive than my last one. Also, when I first cleaned the inner portion of the crock pot, I noticed one small white area that was not covered with glaze, leaving the clay or whatever material it is, exposed. It is a really small spot and under the lid of the inner pot so it shouldn’t often get wet or absorb anything bad. However, I do find the defect worth mentioning.

  21. We used to have a toaster oven that took up a lot of space on our kitchen counter. After we purchased a good air fryer we noticed we rarely used the toaster oven anymore, and we decided to get rid of it. Instead we wanted to find a simple, basic toaster to toast bread when needed. We wanted something small to free up counter space or even be able to leave it in a cabinet and pull it out when necessary. This toaster fit the bill perfectly! It’s simple, straightforward, compact, and toasts bread evenly. We’re not toasting anything more than sliced sandwich bread in our house, so I can’t speak to bagels or thicker breads. For our needs, it is fantastic and small enough that we just push it against the wall when we’re not using it and pull it forward when we are.The crumb tray is easy access, and I like the dial for adjusting the level of toastiness (is that a word?). If you just want a basic toaster for toasted bread a couple of times a week, I couldn’t recommend it more.

  22. I have only used this once but it made the best toast gluten free sandwich. It toasted the outside of the gf english muffin yet still kept the inside soft. The little sliding plate released the cheese just like it was supposed to. Cleaning it was easy and quick. Pan toasting sometimes makes the bread too hard and it was nice not having to use too much oil or butter. I can’t wait to make ‘eggwiches’ using what I like instead of buying the frozen breakfast sandwiches. Little fritattas/omelettes are also on the menu to make in this little machine.

  23. this is a sturdy reliable slow cooker, works well with the cooking bags. Wash’s up well with easy storage for small spaces. I would recommend getting one.

  24. I use mine at least 5 times a week when making a quick dinner and it works great Makes a good grilled cheese in less than 3 minutesOnly down side is when you shut it to cook it flattens it a little to much but still comes out great

  25. I would have given this toaster another star had it not been for the “bagel” button. It toasts the bagel fine but it’s not warmed enough to melt the butter. It worked beautifully for everything just using regular buttons though. I’d buy it again

  26. In case you didn’t read closely like me, the description says “Electric can opener for opening standard-sized cans”. So I try to open up a larger [old] Hawaiian Punch sized can and it doesn’t fit. Excellent product for standard-sized cans! A+ 🙂

  27. Like the fact that it can be manually turned to high, low, or warm. Some of us don’t want another appliance that requires programming. Easy to clean, looks nice, and cooks as it should.

  28. Great can opener, good quality, works great

  29. Anyone who ever inherited their mother or grandmother’s old crockpot knows that a good crockpot is a great appliance to have in the kitchen. I like the control of the temperature the oval design which lets me put in a decent seized pork butt roast to cook all day or a big fat roasting chicken. Not much else I can say if you own a crock pot you know the drill set it and forget it. And when you’re ready you have tender juicy meat falling off the bone or a flavourful soup they’re just a necessity in a true cook’s kitchen.

  30. An inexpensive, nicely designed product that is easy to use, sturdy and size appropriate for my small living space and works very well. Happy with my purchase and recommend to others.

  31. I feel this product was worth the money, it is so easy to use, and fast to open any size can. Cleaning is easy to do. The product take up a little space on a shelf. I will buy it for family and close friends, they will appreciate it as a gift. Thank you for the product.

  32. My first electric can opener in over 20 years. It does the job. Not super sturdy but not meant to open 20-30 cans a day anyway. Worth the price.

  33. I got this for our squad of teenagers who are always hungry.. I got this one on sale and didn’t want to spend a lot on one being unsure if they would use it or like it…. Well they love it… They use it every single day and a couple times a day at that.. we have had it for a month or more now and it’s become a staple in the kitchen for them. They make all different kinds of sandwiches and they also like to use tortilla shells and make quesadillas in it. Super easy and has held up to them putting it to the test.

  34. It looks nice, but cheaply made, very small.Made in China.

  35. Took a while to heat up the first time I used it. After that, it heated quicker. Cooks my roast great

  36. The very best toaster that I’ve ever had or used. Toasts quick and even, and to ME an added feature, the today slots are seemingly extra wide, just enough that “just sliced” home sliced bread or bagles are no issue. No sticking a plastic fork or knife in the appliance. Darkness adjustment is accurate easily used. Attractive, as far as toasters go, well done !! And at a great price. God bless, Neal M

  37. This is a great crock pot especially for the price! It doesn’t overheat, cooks everything consistently, and makes dinner easy! I use it on low, have never needed to use it on high so can’t say how the high setting works but I really only see a need for low setting.

  38. Had my doubts about this purchase but was I surprised. Super easy to install and how it safely opens any can I throw at it is stellar. I would always struggle with the traditional can opener but this upgrade was definitely worth it.

  39. I like this toaster. It is simple, easy to use, and cheap. Temperature control seems to be good in limited usage. However, it has a fundamental design flaw that I discovered the hard way. The slot is wide, but the basket bottom covers only a small fraction of it. That means when you are using something narrow (Pop Tart in my case), it can fall off the basket and go all the way down to the crumb tray. Not only is this unappetizing, it is very difficult to get things out. For wider things like thick-cut bread, buns, bagels, etc., this should work fine, but do not try your Pop Tarts in it.

  40. I absolutely love my OVENTE Electric Panini Press Grill! It’s become a staple in my kitchen for making delicious sandwiches and grilled dishes. The nonstick plates make cleanup a breeze, and I appreciate the LED indicator lights that let me know when it’s preheated and ready to use. The thermostat control ensures that my food cooks evenly every time, resulting in perfectly grilled paninis and sandwiches. Overall, this grill has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient kitchen appliance.

  41. Heats up fast, it’s light and easy to use. It starts heating up as soon as you plug it in, there’s no on/off switch. The plates themselves are easy to clean, but the rest of the unit is tough, as there are many crevices that melted cheese can slip down.

  42. It is small, compact, and does the job of grilling a sandwich. It gets hot so be careful. It does not have a power off switch but you must unplug it.

  43. For our needs, this 7-qt Crock Pot is just what we need. Its a good size, we do not need a timer, we decided, and it performs as expected. The price point is very good for the brand. Most of the time we use our small appliances until they wear out, so we expect we will have this for many years. We are retired, but we like to cook enough for freezer meals or company. (We had our old crock pot for 14 years and we had a lapse in judgement and ordered another brand with a timer, locking lid and 3 temp settings. And it was 3 times the cost of this one I’m reviewing. See note below.)SO, this Crock Pot that arrived a few days ago got a trial run with chicken wild rice soup cooked on low for 8 hours, and it passed with flying co!ors. Note: The more expensive Kitchenaid slow cooker we bought almost a year ago with more features — it took us awhile/too long to realize that the low setting was way too low, resulting in ruined and undercooked dinners. We can’t return it, so it’ll only be used as an occasional extra appliance on the high setting for soups or chili.

  44. I’ve been wanting to buy one for a while to make simple easy meals. This crock pot was perfect for the price (when on sale), nonstick and simple to use! Heats up super fast too!

  45. This is mine and my husband’s favorite can opener. Literally works amazingly and is so quick. There no spilling or fighting on how to use it properly or getting frustrated and giving up on wanting the can to be opened. I used to have to use a knife when my can opener wouldn’t work right. Ever since getting this, I have never had an issue. Glad my father in law recommended it to us!!

  46. Everything is good. Except the length is 1 inch shorter than some bread slice.

  47. I had been looking for a good deal on a sandwich maker like this for a while and well this was just what I had in mind. The actual device is lightweight and portable but still feels sturdy and good quality. Comes with clear instructions for use and cleaning. The pictures show sandwich grilled for 3 minutes but could be browner if left for more time, I just like it that way. They turned out a bit crooked because I used a smaller slice, but the outside crispiness was 10/10 great along with the inside goeyness. LOVED it!
