  1. The size is perfect, the cameras are great video stabilization is very good on all 3 lenses. The number one complaint on this phone is battery life. That may be true for others, but my experience is not so.Granted, no social media apps for me, I debloated a lot of the redundant nonsense, connect mostly to 4G abd a little WiFi, my phone runs on dark mode, I don’t disable or optimize anything to grt more battery life such as disabling 120hz for the screen, I use autobrightness and usually view videos at full brightness, I do a lot of photography, video viewing, surfing, navigating, music using bluetooth devices etc. and I easily get more than 24 hours on 1 charge, of which at least 5-6 hours of screen on time. Your mileage may vary, but if you use the phone similarly to me you’ll do fine.

  2. This was my first Samsung phone since the original Samsung Galaxy S. I have been using Nexus and pixel phones ever since. I mainly gave this phone a shot due to it’s size.Over all I am definitely going to trade this in within the year.Missing features:Ultimately I can live with it but i disappointed in the lack of some features I assumed were standard in this day and age, like visual voice mail. I can’t fathom why this was left out.People are saying the ultrasonic reader is better. I can’t imagine how bad the optical one must be because this one is slow and works less than half the time. The hardware ones off the screen are far superior. Also you can only safe 4 fingerprints! After my 2 thumbs and 2 index fingers that leaves nothing for my significant other, or even the hack to register the same finger to help accuracy.Google Integration:I didn’t realize howal many features were exclusive to pixel phones. Namely, how well integrated they are with Google assistant. Bixby does not understand me most of the time. Reminders and notes do not translate to Google Calendar and Keep, they go to Samsung’s crap that I can’t see on my PC.Again, I would have gone with the pixel 6 if not for it’s massive size and *supposedly* worse fingerprint sensor.

  3. It’s safe to say that my opinion of the S22 is influenced by just how bad my S9 had become.I was hesitant to purchase based on reviews mentioning short battery life, but I just didn’t want a bigger phone. And compared to my S9 that was dying after 3 hours of use, the S22 is great. Most days I’m able to only charge once every 24 hours. I’m not a gamer or much of a video watcher and I’m sure that helps. It supports my social media habit just fine, as well as emails and googling around. And yes, the fingerprint scanner is a bit annoying. With it’s constant “not recognized”. I have found that it works better with a more patient purposeful press. It does not like a quick “it’s me let me in” finger drive by.Being able to keep a reasonable sized phone, the cost, and coming from a phone in it’s deathbed, I’m happy overall and glad I stopped deliberating and finally bought it.

  4. The media could not be loaded.  Se queda trabado fácilmente. Se está recalentado y se desconecta. Al cargarlo también da aviso de recalentamiento. En fin que me he comunicado con servicio al cliente y ya paso la garantía de 1 mes. Intentaré acudir a Samsung directamente a ver si me responden.

  5. The S22 is the perfect form factor for me. It slips right into my pocket and I hardly know it’s there while I’m working, unlike most of the other big and bulky smart phones I was using prior. The device build quality also looks really good and it feels good in the hand. The tech in this phone is pretty great. I like how quick and snappy it is in relation to opening apps, booting up, etc.The screen is surprisingly good, too, for only being 1080p. It still gets plenty bright and vibrant, and the 120hz screen is incredibly smooth. The cameras on the phone are also fantastic. Every shot I took was incredibly crisp and detailed. Though they were day shots, as I haven’t played much with night shots yet.My only minor complaint about the phone would be the battery. I personally make it through the work day just fine, but I usually just read stuff on social media or news articles on flipboard when I’m on break or lunch. That equates to around an hour and thirty minutes of screen time. By the end of an eight hour shift, I’ll still have around 70% battery left. It’s decent enough for lighter screen use, but it may be good to have a charger handy if you like to play a lot of games or watch a lot of videos.Overall the phone is well worth the money and I would definitely recommend it.

  6. I ordered this phone to replace an even more compact but much older device and so far (after about a month of use) this has been a very solid successor:The form factor, screen, camera, performance and overall build quality have been great for me. I’m not a camera guru and mostly take a few snapshots, yet especially the night mode has been a big upgrade for me. Also, I use the adaptive setting for the screen refresh rate. To save on battery, however, I try to keep the screen brightness rather low.Speaking of, battery life would be my biggest complaint, a challenge that all compact phones have to overcome. If only Samsung had made the phone a tiny bit thicker to include bigger batteries, but then it would have probably been too heavy and bulky for most people. Also note that no charger is included in the box! I did not yet own a USB type-C charger to use the included cable, so I had to order one separately. Don’t believe these companies that they do this for the environment, as it requires extra packaging and potentially a separate delivery to buy a charger. As for the software, I like Samsung’s One UI, but wished I got to choose between Google and Samsung for each app and could eliminate the other (some apps can only be deactivated, but remain installed on the device). Having two ecosystems on one device can be a bit confusing and takes away unnecessary storage, which unfortunately is non-expandable.The other compact phone option I considered was the iPhone 13, which I probably would have chosen if it were priced similarly. If you are happy with Android and Samsung in particular and are looking for a more compact phone, you probably won’t be disappointed by what the Galaxy S22 delivers.

  7. The phone ticked all the boxes for me. Old apps ran smooth as butter, no bugs or glitches, nada. Battery could have been better, but I am overlooking that because it saved my rear. This past week, my computer’s motherboard just completely died. Given I wore remote, that was a MAJOR issue for me. However, a family member did gift me this Samsung Dex dock for my old phone. Because of that feature alone, I was able to save two days of work while I am working on fixing the old one (looks like it needed a new motherboard. Hopefully will be turning it back on today). I can still use it in the meantime while I work on restoring all my old data on the rebuilt PC.

  8. The phone was beat in shipping went through customs the repackaging from aramex was terrible the phone box wasn’t secure in the box and the phone wasn’t even secured In its box so it went through he’ll, but some how it survived and while aramex deserves a 0 star the phone for the value and condition deserves a 100 starsAmazing phone, awesome condition, thanks to the seller.

  9. The phone is in brand new conditions, no scratches nor any other sign of previous use. Packaging wasn’t that great though, it comes at the bottom of a regular cardboard box with a cardboard lid on top of it and no foam or any other kind of protection. As stated no manuals or any other original documentation whatsoever, not a big deal if you ask me, charger is not original (mine came with a Motorola branded head).Removed one star from the review because the phone is not unlocked as advertised, mine came Verizon locked, it’s a hassle but not a dealbreaker, there are plenty of trustworthy unlocking shops and online services out there, just had to spend 30 extra bucks…still saving a lot of money.EDIT: Turns out Verizon locked phones are not that easy to unlock, it would cost me 200 extra bucks so I have to return the phone

  10. I purchased this as a Christmas gift. How humiliating for me as we learn from our carrier (cricket) that the phone is locked to Verizon. We were told to call Verizon and request a code to unlock it BUT when we called Verizon, as instructed, we then learned that the phone was still active on someone else’s account (i assume the seller) and we cannot activate. It’s literally no good to us…What a great gift, NOT!! Not to mention the time we wasted on calls with customer service. I’ve tried to reach out to the seller for help but my efforts are cut short by Amazon’s auto-bot. Also to note, shipping was prompt and the phone itself was in great condition for a refurbished item but its junk if it cant be used. I don’t recommend anyone else wasting their time or money

  11. We just received this yesterday, but so far, it’s been great! It took the SIM card with no problems. I used SmartSwitch to transfer apps and data and everything transferred flawlessly. My wife loves the phone. It’s so much faster than her prior, old phone! Haven’t had the opportunity to check battery life, or the fingerprint reader, or camera. But it charged quickly, and seems to be holding well under use. Will update as we give it more use.

  12. I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S22 Smartphone in Phantom White (Renewed) and I am thoroughly impressed with this device. The phone is factory unlocked, which gives me the flexibility to use it with any carrier, and the 128GB storage capacity is more than enough to store all of my photos, videos, and apps. The camera on this phone is nothing short of amazing. The 8K camera and video capabilities allow me to capture stunning, high-quality footage and the resulting images are incredibly clear and detailed. I love the fact that I can take professional-level photos and videos with just my phone. The display on the Samsung Galaxy S22 is also fantastic. It is incredibly bright and vivid, making it easy to see even in direct sunlight. The long battery life ensures that I can use my phone throughout the day without worrying about it dying on me.The fast 4nm processor is another standout feature of this phone. It runs very smoothly and quickly, which makes multitasking a breeze. I can switch between apps and tasks without any lag or delay.Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S22 Smartphone to anyone in the market for a high-quality Android cell phone. The renewed version is an excellent value and performs just as well as a brand new device. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase!

It is a phone and it is expensive, but it works well.

  14. The product was in great condition and arrived on time. It works like new and has a longer battery life than my previous phone.

  15. WORKS GREAT!

  16. I have been using this for a few weeks now, and this has been a good little phone.

  17. Samsung phones seem to be better build quality than the rest of the electronics they sell. So if you have a junky TV, refrigerator or washing machine from them , it is not the same.

  18. NOT FACTORY UNLOCKED! I didn’t realize this immediately because it is not specifically sim-locked, and data and calling worked fine. Fast forward 6 months, I get an email from work telling me I’ll be kicked off the MDM policy (work email on personal phone) unless I update my OS. Evidently it was a Verizon phone, which can only receive software updates if you have Verizon SIM card. I have spent days trying to get support from Samsung, Verizon, AT&T, Amazon, and the Amazon seller only to be told to pound sand >:[It would seem my only option now is to take a risk with leaked / pirated firmware flashing, which I’m worried will trip the Knox security (which is the only reason I bought the phone in the first place, as Knox security was required by my employer). The phone itself is also disappointing. I started with a OnePlus 5t, which I was very happy with. When I was required to get a Samsung, I went to an A52 5g. The fingerprint sensor and face recognition were both so bad that unlocking the phone was a massive chore (something I do dozens of times a day). I suffered through this for a little while before upgrading to the S22. I very much resent the trend of under-display sensors which do not perform as well as their more visible counterparts. The S22 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is vastly better than the optical one on the A52, but it still is inferior compared to a sensor on the back of the phone like on my older OnePlus. Heck, even my old galaxy S5 had a better fingerprint sensor. The face detection is a little better than the A52, but not as good as the OnePlus 5t. It really struggles in low light, and must be directly in front of your face. Nobody does face detection as well as Apple, but that’s probably due to patent limitations (and I refuse to go back to iphone until they allow sideloading). One notable issue both the A52 and S22 suffer is an inability to detect they are in my pocket. I must deliberately place the phone with the screen facing outwards or else the fingerprint reader will constantly register false attempts against my leg (which will lock you out of using biometrics)Battery life is not impressive. Once again the 5t was better. This may not be entirely fair b/c I do use the always-on display, but on the other hand the processor should be much more efficient for how much newer it is. I mostly believe this is similar to the issue of constantly waking up in my pocket. A proper proximity sensor could have solved this rather than just using the selfie camera, which is again another example of form over function (It also seems like samsung doesn’t even attempt to detect being in you pocket in order to reduce battery / ignore touch screen).

  19. Love this phone. No complaints

  20. Great phone, great price. Lots of storage. Perfect size!! I hate big phones. I was replacing an S9 and this is similar in size. I’m on Cricket and the only issue with this phone is that it doesn’t take a memory card so I don’t have my pictures in my gallery. I saved them on Shutterfly so I didn’t lose them. Other than that, this phone is Great! One more thing I just remembered, the volume controls are a bit annoying. Whenever tapping up or down on the side of the phone, 4 different volume control options pop up: ringer, text/notifications, media, and things associated with the phone such as the alarm. I really find it a bit annoying, but that’s it. Not a deal breaker for me.

  21. I waited for some time to leave this review as some customers stated that phones started working worse in a few months. I got the S22, the phone was unlocked, it was properly packaged, and there were scratches on the phone, as expected, as the phone was previously owned. While booting (which was done in the summer), the phone overheated, but it was a one-time thing that happened during the setup. The camera gets laggy and hot if in use for a long time(like a realllly long time). Overall, the CPU used with this model has the issue, so overheating is not a big deal or a surprise. During everyday life, it works great, takes good pictures, and sounds okay; the fingerprint sensor works fine, and so does the face recognition. The only thing I am not very sure of is if the phone is waterproof, but it’s easy to check; I just need to meet a technician. Overall, it is a good product with enough value for the price. It came with a cable AND a charging block that gives super fast charging. I wasn’t expecting it, but it was nice to get. Overall, battery life is okay; my previous phone worked almost the same, so nothing too bad for me. Also, I have turned on the battery limitation (it can only charge up to 85% now), and I still go through 2/3 of the day. I always have a charger by my side and never really drained the battery, but I guess it would go through the day with constant use.

  22. I like refurbished phones because there is no contract to deal with. I am of the over 65 group so stuff like this is scary when it doesn’t work. I tried Back Market first but that phone at the end of set up wouldn’t connect to the network. It took a month and a half to get a refund.I decided to try Amazon and looked for an over 90% rating which was Chubbiestech. The phone they sent said it belonged to an organization, did not ever show a start screen, would not let me download Smart Switch, it was running so much stuff it wouldn’t charge, said it was a slow charger (the one they sent and I tried several outlets), and I couldn’t turn it off because it kept coming right back on. I called Chubbiestech but they offer NO technical support.I contacted Amazon and requested a replacement. This was a much better outcome. I am wary and will see if this lasts. Chubbiestech sent a replacement within a week which was great. I sent the other one back via UPS. (I have yet to receive confirmation they got it even though the tracking number shows it was delivered). However, the phone looks great, it showed the start screen right away and data transferred seamlessly, and it connected to the network. Hopefully third time is a charm.

  23. I am very happy with this Samsung22 phone, good battery life and takes great pictures.

  24. Great phone. I made sure to check all the things that I had seen people having issues with when it came to second hand phones. It charges really well and the battery life isn’t bad at all. Haven’t had any overheating issues so far. It updated the phone software to the latest no issues. Apart from a small scratch on the back of the phone (which doesn’t bother me cause it’s covered by my phone case so I never see it) there were no other noticeable marks on the phone. Cameras work great. Finger print works just fine so personally no issues there.Works just like a new phone to me at a really good price. And with it being quite the upgrade from my severely dying hardly working Samsung galaxy S10 I’m and very happy with its performance and the choice to go second hand.

  25. This S22+ phone is OK. I didn’t know it didn’t have an SD slot or 3.5mm earphone jack. My previous phone had both and the SD card had a lot of files which I’m now unable to access because the S22 has no slot for it.

  26. Hasta el momento lo utilizo y cumple todo lo ofrecido

  27. Great product

  28. I like that the phone is in good condition. There might be some chips on the screen but it’s covered with a screen protector which I would have added anyway. I’m not sure if it was supposed to come with headphones but they did not. All my past phones have come with them but this refurb didn’t.

  29. Llego sin ningún detalle estico, la batería es lo que promete, se calienta algo, pero es por el modelo del teléfono de ahí en fuera todo bien, recomendado

  30. Had a galaxy S9+ for years. Refused to trade it in. Never a fan of getting a phone “just because”. I don’t need the best, ultimate, fastest, highest quality phone every year. So, went ahead and bought this one last year. Figured I would wait a while before posting a review. Fantastic product. Especially for the money. I’d argue you’re getting this at a steal. If you’re looking to upgrade your phone, I’d definitely recommend trying these certified phones here if you’re not a fan of being ripped off with newer phones that depreciate by >30% in a matter of minutes when you can get a like-new phone for cheaper. And this phone has nothing wrong with it. Coming from my past experiences where I tried getting refurbished/used phones (even from mobile carriers) and there was issues with the software or hardware, I can say this is definitely not the case.I’m definitely going to be doing this again in the future. Screw cell phone carriers.

  31. Great phone…

  32. What’s important to know about this product is that if bought used, you may have to endure going through several updates before the phone is considered fully “up-to-date”. I was not aware of this. I spent way too much time with Samsung Customer Service (over 150 minutes) before figuring out that you may have to go through more than 8 System Updates after buying this certified re-used phone. I hope that everything now is going to work fine. I’m looking forward to using this phone and it now functioning properly.

  33. Mine arrived in such good condition that with a case and screen protector it’s indistinguishable from a brand new phone. First day I used it, it scared me how quickly it depleted its battery, but a couple of days later I can get through the day with no problems, even with some pretty heavy use (at least for me). It was probably installing updates in the background. The phone itself is fantastic, super smooth and fast, very comfortable because of its size and has an amazing camera. Oh, and the screen is probably one of the best out there, just gorgeous.

  34. The Galaxy S22 is an amazing phone, but don’t forget that buying a used, 2-year-old phone means that the battery will be well used unless the seller replaces it before sending it to you. People use their phones a lot these days, and they wear the battery down significantly over two years.A battery with 80%+ capacity sounds great—like it’s close enough to new—but these batteries aren’t large to begin with. If you use your phone a lot, it might not last the day unless you recharge it.However, if you get a good deal on a used Galaxy S22 in excellent condition, it might still be worth trying it with the battery it comes with—give it a few weeks to optimize based on your usage—and if it doesn’t last long enough for you, have it replaced for an additional $90-$100 or whatever price you find at a local shop.If the phone looks new, you’d still be getting a good deal compared to buying the latest model; just make sure to check prices and do the math beforehand!

  35. The phone is just perfect for my needs. Samsung hit a homerun with this one. And it shipped in good condition, with every looking and working like brand new.

  36. El equipo me llego en excelentes condiciones, liberado y una estética impecable, muy recomendable😁

  37. It is very lightweight, love the rose color. Works great. Transferring phone to phone was easy for this old person.

  38. Purchased this phone skeptical of the price, but I don’t regret it in absolute great condition, will come back for my next upgrade

  39. I am very much in love with my new phone. Was doubting the comments due to battery life and star, but tbh it is way better than I expected. I can run a whole day on the phone without getting low batt. Even with much usage. For the price I would not doubt on buying it!

  40. Phone looks good, but power port does not work properly. Definitely would not say phone was even in good condition if power port has issues. I would recommend a different seller. This is not a typical issue I have ran into in the past with used phones rated in excellent condition.

  41. This was my first experience with a renewed product and I started having buyers remorse when it was in transit. When I opened the box it was absolutely flawless. The case and screen looked brand new. It took a charge and all my info transferred with no problems. It is absolutely like a brand new phone. What a really great buy!

  42. So far I have had it a few days but I love it. Upgraded from galaxy a32 and it’s just much better for a good price. The battery runs quickly, once it hits 5% you have a couple minutes to get it to the charger whereas I could use it for a long time from 5-1%. I turned battery saver on and it helps a little but not by much. All in all I would still have made this purchase, it’s a good quality and great condition.
