  1. Worked straight away flies gone byebye lol good quality eliminates flies straight away

  2. This product is amazing. The photo attached is after only 6 days and i think I let it get a little too full 🤢 they had laid eggs and the maggots were crawling around inside, so ill change out sooner next time 💀 The west Texas summer is brutal and just beginning and the flies came out full force. I have the Garsum glue traps (also 5 stars) stuck on my back door windows and near the cracks they like to sneak in but it wasn’t cutting it. These have drawn the masses AWAY from my door the kids are coming and going out of. It’s super simple to use. Cut the hole, run some yarn through it, fill w about 2 cups water, hang it up (doesn’t doesn’t bad at this point, just slightly musty) and watch as the nasty things fly to their death. I waited to write this until I had disposed of one and that was BRUTAL. Pro tip: don’t do it in the middle of the day, idk what I was thinking. The worst part for sure. It smells terrible and has flies buzzing everywhere. When I pushed the lid down it let some flies out but not a huge amount. I had 3 baggies to tie it up in and a trash bag to throw that in. It smelled even through all those layers! BUT worth every penny and I’m already ordering more.

  3. For some reason we had become absolutely inundated with flies that had completely diminished any outdoor relaxation around our deck and porch swing. I tried natural home remedies and no results. I purchased several cans of Raid Flying Insect Spray and could kill some but not nearly enough. We tried these fly traps and we horrified and by the immediate accumulation of flies right from the get! Not only do they absolutely attract the flies, but each bag holds hundreds of flies with room to spare. Our problem was severe yet these bags lasted at least 3 weeks before being completely filled. We also hung 2 on the fence of our dog pen where the poochies toilet to prevent them from being bothered when they’re trying to go to the bathroom and these traps helped that issue a lot while still perfectly safe to be around our dogs. I would love to hang one right over my porch swing but because they work so well that would only bring the nasty flies closer to me and I can definitely live without that!..lolWe tried other fly traps that you have to bait which didn’t work as well and are a hassle. I highly recommend these particular fly traps for the ease of use, the amount they can contain, and because they are safe for pets, people, and the environment. They work so well we have them on autoship

  4. These work surprisingly well and are very effective in doing the job. I deploy 2 in a chicken coop run to assist in reducing fly count, which is high here with recent wet weather and high humidity. This version is much more effective than the larger wider equivalent with the 3D print here in Australia.

  5. Long story short, this solved our gnat problem but I have no idea how. I don’t know if anything got stuck to the tape but the bugs are gone. Since it worked, I won’t question it.So we had these annoying gnats/fruit fly like bugs that were only in our bedroom for the most part. There was only like 1 or 2 per day but they were those ones that drives you nuts by flying right in your face and you can never kill them, so we bought these. They opened fairly easily without much force or the string or anything breaking randomly. I took the time to unravel it and tried pulling it tight and holding it like that for a bit, but as soon as I let go then it just wound right back up. I figured it would unravel on its own after hanging it up, so it wasn’t a big deal. (The pic with more light shows how it was out of the box the first night)We put it into our ceiling above our computer where those things managed to evoke the most rage in us and went to bed. The very next morning we didn’t see any flies. I didn’t notice any stuck on the tape either though. Its now been 4 days since putting the fly paper up and we have not seen a single one of those gnats anywhere in my home. I *think* one may be stuck to the paper, but not completely sure, it could be dust too. I really don’t understand it. We had these flies for 3 weeks and no severe change in weather or anything else, so I know it was these papers. They’re the only change we made. Also side note, it ended up unraveling a little bit after we turned on our humidifier last night, but otherwise it still hasnt really straightened out yet.(You can see in the 2nd pic, the darker one where more of the window is in the shot) Its only been up for 4 days and I just measured it to be about 2 feet, even with it still curled a bit. I saw some other reviewers not like that it didnt unravel completely. I don’t mind since it’s not like we need the extra tape space and I’d probably manage to hit my head off it somehow if it was longer, which I’m definitely okay with never doing (again).Ultimately we bought this to get rid of our gnat problem, which it did. Even if it wasn’t in the expected way. So I’m competely happy with the purchase. And it does seem sticky enough that if they land on it they would get stuck to it. Also getting 8 of them for the price is worth it as well.

  6. **Use this Plug-In Fly Trap in conjunction with BIO-CLEAN (see my photos, sold by another seller) and you will have 90% to 100% success in eliminating drain flies… and your sanity will return!I purchased the Plug-In Fly Trap for a small bathroom where I have been battling drain flies for 5+ years! I am using it in conjunction with the BIO-CLEAN product.**READ BELOW….When I tell you I have used 5+ OTC products PLUS several do it yourself remedies and concoctions for drain flies, none of which worked well, not exaggerating. I even clean out the tub trap and use a small snake-like tool to remove anything in the drain thinking that could be a breeder issue.Initially I treated all drains for the flies, even the washer drain, until I figured out the exact problem area. No water source area was not treated. I even bought a tiny little scrub brush on a snake that goes down into the drain lines. Still had drain flies. Finally…. using duct tape, taped down over the drains, that is how I finally figured out where the problem area was, where they were flying out of getting stuck on the tape. Now that I knew where…..over the past 5+ years I have poured huge pots of boiling water down the tub/shower drain, repeating daily for a few days. Helped, but still seeing them daily; I have used vinegar mixed with baking soda, repeating daily for days. Helped, but still seeing them daily; I have poured a cup of bleach (the thick no-splash gel kind) at a time down the drains, waiting a few hours then rinsing with hot water. Did this for several days in a row. Helped, but still seeing them daily; I have used powerful drain cleaners/chemicals for clogged drains, even though my drain works at 100%. Helped, but still seeing them daily; I have spent A LOT OF MONEY purchasing various liquid pre-mixed drain cleaners ADVERTISED FOR DRAIN FLIES here on Amazon. Sometimes treating 2 weeks at a time, daily, sometimes twice daily. Helped, but still seeing multiples daily.FINALLY I HEARD ABOUT THIS PRODUCT – BIO CLEAN.RUN and get yourself some, quickly, if you have drain flies! THIS is the only drain fly product that really works, however not 100%. Use it overnight for about 2 weeks straight. Do not use water for about 8 hrs in that drain. After you get rid of them, or most, use 1x a week as maintenance. Most days I see a fly when I turn the water on, flying out of the drain, or on the shower wall or even in the toilet. Sometimes in other areas of the condo, like at my computer screen. Not 1-2 dozen a day anymore, just 1 or 2 a day most days, and not the larger ones, usually the smaller gnat-like flies. I am convinced I will never be totally rid of them, even with all I am doing, and using BIO-CLEAN weekly. There is something way down in that drain pipe that is the culprit.NOW…. since I plugged this light in the bathroom a week ago, it is catching most of those stragglers (see photo). If you have drain flies you must clean out the enzymes in all your drains with a enzyme cleaning product, do it time to time (weekly if needed, or monthly as a preventative) as routine maintenance, especially the problem drains. Enzymes is what drain flies feed on.*I gave the Plug-In Fly Trap 2 stars for “value for money”…. $17.97 is very costly for this product and refills are a bit expensive. Now that I know there are plug-in products with a UV LED light fro this problem, I will shop around.

  7. This must have drawn every fly in a five house radius. In 4 days the dead flies filled half of the bag. Extremely effective but the smell, even at 40 feet away was appalling. One of the bags broke and fell to the ground. Clean up was like trying to bury a week-long dead raccoon in a Miami summer. Have to say that it is the most effective fly trap I have ever seen

  8. I found myself with a house fly infestation from leaving the windows cracked while I was away for 2 days. came back to house flies and found where they had laid eggs on the trash can. I had hundreds of tiny baby flies everywhere! It was gross to say the least. Sprays worked but I have pets and was concerned about them. I searched for fly paper online and found this product. I hung 3 of them in doorways to the kitchen, laundry room and front bathroom as well as taking one apart and sticking it to a piece of cardboard so I could swipe at any fly flying by me. They worked really well! The first day I had maybe 20 on each trap and that number grew the next day. I also but out 4 small dishes of apple cider vinegar and a drop of dishwashing soap and those caught tons! I’m disgusted to say I had this problem but this product helped me get on top of it and get rid of the pesky things. I recommend them.

  9. Product works incredible. Caught like a thousand flies in a few days. However. The wind got real strong and its flimsy breadtie style holder snapped and it fell to the ground and spilled everywhere. Smelled like death. Like horrible, ungodly death smell in my backyard for about a week. So whatever you do, make sure this thing is securely hanging on to whatever you affix it to😂 Used the other one and had it in a safer spot out of the wind, and it was fine. But just a heads up!

  10. This product does exactly what it says it does. It attracts and kills a ton of flys. The bread tie hanger is the worst part about it though. I struggled with keeping the first one on a hook. The tie would come loose and it would fall to the ground. After filling the first one, I went to put up my second one and after wrapping the tie around a hook 4 times and trying to wrap the tie around itself, I lost grip on the bag and the weight of the bag pulled on the tie and it fell 2 feet to the ground causing the bag to split open and the contents spilled all over the ground. I will be looking for another brand that has a better hook.

  11. These do catch them but won’t solve your issue. Definitely good to have on hand.I recently had a gnat or fruit fly issue and felt disgusting and became crazier than a bed bug cleaning like a psycho to my already clean home. I spent 100 bucks on everything in 3 days. I am surprised I didn’t end up in the ER with all the chemicals I used. The vinegar, dishsoap, homemade traps do not work!!This is what works!!!! Get some drain opener. These effers come from the drain and we had a ton of rain. Use it. Clean your entire house with bleach. Put sugar water, soda or anything sweet in an old pan you don’t care about. Put in the oven and leave your oven open overnight. Wake up. Shut the oven. Bake those effers at 450 for 10 min. Gone. Also get the gross fly strips AND THESE to catch the stragglers. Put bleach in every drain to sit at every chance. Boil water on your stove and dump it with bleach down your garbage disposal and run it. Have not seen one since. Don’t use a garbage disposal. They are just gross sorry. Dichotomus earth/bedbug powder/silica powder under your sinks (kills any bugs exoskeleton). You’re welcome.

  12. Was tricky to figure out at first lol but it was easy to fill and hang up. It worked really well to keep the tons of flies on our patio away from our doors. Unfortunately, after collecting about 100 flies, my son swung a plastic axe and hit it. It burst open and all the dead flies and the liquid inside exploded on our patio and let me tell you….the smell of that liquid is so rancid. 10/10 do not recommend breaking it open. And this was the only one we had left, after my dog ate the other one before we even got to fill it up and use it 🤦🏻‍♀️ (she was fine) We definitely will be getting again next summer.

  13. Kind of embarrassing but this summer we had the worst fruit fly infestation we’ve had. Where it got really bad seemed to be in my 17 year old sons bedroom where he has a whole bunch of apple sauce packets he ate in the trash. These little suckers seem to love anything related to apples. It was bad. We tried apple cider vinaigrette and dish soap, open wine bottles with a little wine in the bottom. Zevo light. EVERYTHING. These are the most effective by far. It is so gross but these have caught so many fruit flies. My only gripe is that the package says to leave them out 45 days. They really seem to lose their effectiveness after about 2 weeks

  14. He comprado muchas cosas para mosquitos e insectos y este ha sido el mejor y más funcional

  15. Place them at least 20 ft. From doors or seating areas. They worked amazing. We had terrible fly problems and per for on porch Ana we probably tried fly strips that didn’t work at all. But these fly traps worked fast. Follow instructions and be careful when removing them so you don’t spill it on yourself, I made that mistake and went running for the shower! We double bagged in trash and kept upright putting out on trash night. If they spill in trash can you need to really clean with bleach or pine sol and hose out to get rid of the foul smell.

  16. This is the most putrid smelling thing, but that’s why it WORKS to draw in those pesky flies. I mean, within 8 minutes, I had flies swarming, and by the end of one hour, there were too many to count already inside the trap. I have had a horrid fly problem (don’t know why) but one of these on the left side of the house and one on the right side of the house, and I am fly free! They fill up pretty quickly, but even full, it is still drawing flies. I change them out once a month during the warm months. PS Because of the “poopie, death, gagging odor”, place them away from doors and windows. You won’t regret purchasing these!

  17. Cumple con lo prometido, el manejo es muy sencillo, sólo hay que tener cuidado con el pegamento del insecticida porque es bastante fuerte al tacto por si se hace contacto por accidente

  18. We have been plagued with a pestilence of flies. In December, mind you. This is unprecedented. So we ordered these fly paper traps, hoping to solve the problem. For the first few days, there was no action at all and I was very disappointed, but all of a sudden those fly strips are like Fly Central, and the strip is covered with those annoying flies, which are some kind of smaller fly we do not usually see. We are very pleased with such an inexpensive and easy solution to what was a very annoying problem. Would certainly use again and can easily recommend to others with similar unfortunate problems.

  19. The traps do in fact trap flys and do a great job of doing it. I do however think that the bait that is used attracts even more flys than I originally had. Possibly making the situation worse.

  20. I received a fresh fruit gift for Christmas that unfortunately with fruit flys. I tried a homemade mixture of vinegar, sugar and dish soap that helped a little. The picture of the trap is after one week so I would suggest getting extras. While this was working, it works best at night when there are no other lights onIt was only partially effective so I also bought some fruit fly traps. The combination is working much more effectively and after 3 weeks I’m almost completely clear.I would recommend this as it’s effective on plant gnats as well as fruit flys.

  21. Not sure if it was user error, but I feel like I would catch flies and when I would look at it an hour later, the flies were gone. However, it did grab some and they were easy to hang up.

  22. Past experience with these was pulling the top off, extending the tape, and hanging from ceiling. These have the cap so tightly adhered to the holder and the tape adheres to itself so strongly trying to extend the tape results in tearing the entire container. Messy and not very functional

  23. These do a great job of removing flies. One fills up in about a week, they are that good. Made a huge difference in my property. I wish the bag would seal better when disposing. You don’t want to get that smelly stuff on you. I carefully slide a plastic bag under one before removing it, tie it tight and put it in a second bag to dispose. Highly recommend. Our local supplier sells out fast so order plenty.

  24. These things really work at drawing in flies. I gave the “scent” a 5 star rating because you can smell the stench from these about 30 feet away and further is the wind is blowing the right direction. After using a few of these in my back yard for about a month, I did notice a decrease in the fly population when we’d bbq. We live in the country with woods, pastures, and a bayou around us so there’s lots of flying critters. Bottom line, these really do work – just put them far enough away from your patio or home.

  25. I am very satisfied with this product. It works, but if you’re looking for a fast solution, this is not it. I’ve had it for a few weeks, it is still catching the fruit flies. I can’t complain, since the glue card is full. I have 2, one in my kitchen and one in my bathroom. It’s the kitchen one that fills up, the bathroom one takes longer. I like the design of the unit, it’s modern and fits in to decor. Also, it’s handy that the unit can be swiveled around from the plug, so it can fit literally anywhere, even if upside down. I bought more glue cards, the generic is totally doable. Overall, great, effective purchase and I’m looking forward to being completely fruit fly free very soon.

  26. Kind of Expensive for What it is but it does work. Scent (of Vinegar) died off after a week but so did the fruit flies lol. Renewed with eye dropper and a solution of vinegar and a drop of Dawn.

  27. These things work extremely well. But they do get stinky.

  28. I had a problem of many tiny flying insects in my bathroom which came from my shower drain. These are not regular flies but much smaller. I tried many things to kill them within my shower drain but nothing seemed to do the trick. I bought a 6 pack of these and tacked 2 to my bathroom ceiling. Well they certainly worked because there are now many little, tiny gnat type flies stuck to them. They are very sticky so don’t get them stuck to you or the wall. They worked very well for me!

  30. Fantastic product. I’ve used them for years and barely have any flies around the house and barn. Bag is usually full in a week, depending on weather, so you need to replace it. Be warned – dead flies stink. I usually put the bag of flies in a plastic bag then put that in a trash bag. Highly recommend these if you have a fly problem.

  31. This outlet fly trap is perfect. The light attracts the pests without interfering with your day to day life or vision. It is wonderful at night as doubles as a night light. I never knew I had as many flying pests inside my house until I started using this product. Now I can keep the windows open without fear because I know whatever flies into this house will be caught by this.

  32. Funny thing happened when I hung this up. The flies disappeared. It didn’t catch a single fly, but repelled them. Thought it was coincidence, so took it down. Flies came back. Hung another on up, viola, flies were gone. Don’t recommend hanging close to a wall. Wind blew the trap and it stuck to the wall. Left a gooey mess all over the wall.

  33. I loved everything about this. I had a real bad infestation of fruit flies in my room and the bathroom. Soon as I plugged it in, it was working. Super simple and easy to understand. Worked so well I had to get more backings! I was changing it twice a day, and highly suggest this for any infestations. The light is perfect, and attracts more flying insects than a tv

  34. MAN! Do these things work, I put them out 1-week ago and they’re so FULL of flies; I am hard pressed to see an annoying fruit fly on my computer screen anymore.

  35. It has worked great for me! I had a bad fruit fly problem in my house and tried every “at home” trick I could find. These worked extremely well and fast! The fruit flys are gone and it’s only been 3 days.- There is a slight smell of apple cider vinegar at first, but very unnoticeable when you put the whole thing together.

  36. I can’t say enough wonderful things about these handy little bug catchers! They are simple to use, cheap to refill and catch a ton of small bugs and flies. I have 8 of them now, all around my house! It’s a little gross how many tiny flying insects are around…but it makes me feel a lot better now that I have these!

  37. I’ve dealt with flies like no one’s business. Any remedy that’s in the market, I’ve tried. Now this? This is godsend. Easy to set up, just add water and hang it up and we’re good to go. It’s small yet compact. Not even 10 minutes after hanging it up- flies were SWARMING around it. I have never seen such thing. The smell is quite strong and not the for the sensitive stomachs BUT it’s so worth it. Quality of the bags and hair is top notch, and the appearance isn’t an issue because the small size the bags come in.

  38. Bottom line is that these work great! They caught so many flies. However, the smell is so strong that made the backyard stink and we avoided it. Also, not sure if we had more flies because the smell was so strong we were attracting them from all over, or if that’s just how many we had around. Nonetheless, the did work but keep the smell in mind.

  39. These attract a lot of bugs! Even after getting rained on, bugs still stick to it. I’m happy with this product. They’re ugly, but effective.

  40. When I set out my fruit fly traps, one in my kitchen and the other in my bathroom, I immediately had about 7 fruit flies get on the red apple in my kitchen and about 3 on the one in the bathroom. Later, I found them dead inside. A wonderful product that works.

  41. I bought two and put one near our fruit basket to catch fruit flies and several fruit fries are stuck to it. Another we put near indoor plants and there are lots gnat fly stuck to it. It attracts fruit fly and gnats and they get stuck.

  42. First time we ever had a problem with gnats. The container for the liquid worked well, but it was not easy to put the liquid in the little red containers. I was very happy to find this product though. I did place the red container in a small clean round plastic container I usually recycle to avoid any accidental spillage.

  43. Best thing since the paper napkin!!!!! I have two and they work flawlessly. Would totally buy again and the adhesive patches are priced reasonably. Does a great job!!!! Would totally recommend!!!

  44. Have used these in the past and they work great on capturing flies in my yard! Expecting these new ones to work just as well!
