  1. I was telling a couple of the girls at work yesterday about how I’d gotten a Yonana and how eager I was to try it. One of the other girls comes up and says, “You ordered a Yonana?” I said yes, thinking she was going to tell me wonderful things about it. Instead, she said she’d had one, that she hated it, and recommended that I immediately pack it up and ship it back without trying it. She claimed it was noisy and difficult to clean. She recommended getting a Ninja instead and said a Ninja is more versatile, but then she went on to say that she has to add liquid to her fruit, which defeats the purpose for why I’d ordered the Yonana in the first place. I’m on Weight Watchers, and I’d ordered the Yonana because all you need is fruit and fruit is zero points on Weight Watchers. What’s not to love about “free” food? My co-worker also complained about needing to use two bananas for the Yonana and said that bananas are too high in carbs. High in carbs or not, bananas still count as “free” food on Weight Watchers and, contrary to what my co-worker said, you do not need to use two bananas nor do you need to use any bananas. So, being the stubborn person that I am, I decided not to take my co-worker’s advice.Last night I got to try the Yonana. My assessment…it is noisy. So noisy that it should be packed up and shipped back? No. It’s no more noisy than my blender or my son’s juicer. And it is not difficult to clean. Not in the least little bit. In fact, I was a bit wary of the blades on the blade cone because they looked a bit evil, like they could scrape up a knuckle without a second thought – but the blades actually ended up being very easy to clean off. You can actually just run the parts under water and rinse them off, it cleaned up that easily. If my co-worker wants to see difficult to clean, she can borrow my son’s juicer, which requires scrubbing with a toothbrush to get all the pulp out.I’d read some reviews on the Ninja and one of the reviews complained that the Ninja is a pain when you want to add additional ingredients because you have to take off the motor and take off a lid and there was another step that I don’t remember. My co-worker agreed that you do need to do all that, but she poo-pooed that review as saying that’s really not an issue. Well, I can’t vouch for the Ninja, but I can say that adding fruit to the Yonana is very easy. You just pull out the plunger (which you can get a little bit of suction there) and pop in the fruit and then plunge away.Creating the “ice cream” is very quick. I mean, very quick! In less time than it takes to dig frozen real ice cream out of a tub, you can have a Yonana treat. (Well, okay, that might not be totally true as you do need to thaw your frozen fruit first…but take the thawing part out of the equation, you can have the Yonana treat more quickly than real ice cream and without the cussing and swearing.)There is no waste in ingredients with the Yonana. I am always astounded by my son’s juicer at how much wasted product is left over. With the Yonana, you get to eat every bit of what goes into it. You will want to disassemble the unit right away, however, because you will find that some edible “ice cream” remains between the blade cover and the blade cone and some in the gasket too, but that’s very easy to scrape out, put in the bowl, and enjoy. I did notice that it seems that the first bowl of Yonana gets cheated out of some of their treat and subsequent bowls seem to be more filled. I’m not sure what the reason for that is as it didn’t appear that there was fruit left in the plunger. Maybe it’s the amount of fruit that remains between the cone cover and blade cone? I don’t know, but a solution is to make one big batch and then separate it into portions. The unit is much smaller than I’d expected it to be. It takes up less room than a toaster or a traditional blender or my son’s gigantic juicer. It is tall, however. But if you leave it out on a countertop, height isn’t an issue. It’s the footprint that would be an issue. One thing I discovered that I don’t really like about the design of the Yonana is that the spout the “ice cream” comes out is too close to the unit and sometimes the “ice cream” wants to curl back toward the unit and not into your bowl, even though I had the bowl pushed up next to the machine. A simple fix would be for the Yonana designer to make a longer spout. Next Yonana generation maybe. In the meantime, the user can use a higher bowl, or maybe a glass?Overall, am I 100% sold on Yonana? No. I wish I could say I am, but, after tasting my first creation, I think I’d rather just eat the fruit. The concoction does not taste like ice cream – it does, however, have the texture of soft serve ice cream. Oddly, my son, who drank a full 12 ounce glass of grainy juiced carrots without complaint made faces as he ate his banana/peach Yonana. He did eat it all, but I don’t think he’s going to be asking me to make him another Yonana treat. As for me, I do not like bananas, at all, and a few areas of my banana/berry tasted way too much like banana. (And, yes, I know, you do not need to use the bananas. I made my Yonana treat using just one banana, one half before the berries and one half after.) Am I going to ship my Yonana back? No. I’m going to give it more of a try. First off, a lot of the reviews and the Yonana owner’s manual/recipe books all say to use ripe bananas. I didn’t have ripe bananas. I just froze the bananas that were the most banged up looking and they really weren’t all that ripe. So I’m hoping that bananas that are truly ripe and not simply banged up will make a difference. Also, I intend to give it a try using just fruit without the bananas. I am also hoping that in time I will move beyond the desire for my concoctions to be ice cream and that I’ll just be happy that I’m having a Weight Watchers zero point treat. My husband also said that he thinks the Yonana will be a nice cold treat come summer when it’s hot.So, do I recommend the Yonana? Yes, I do. In fact, despite my not being sold on the taste of my first creation, I do intend on sharing my Yonana experience with my Weight Watchers group as well as my friends. Like a few of the reviews said, if you want ice cream, go buy ice cream. If you want a good, healthy, zero point treat, then, by all means, get a Yonana. It’s a good machine that does exactly what it’s meant to do.Follow up – I tried again and used just a berry mix (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries) and four slices of peaches (no bananas). Very good. Even better, I mixed in a container of blueberry Fiber One yogurt (just one Weight Watchers point). Now, that was a good mixture that I can easily eat multiple times. It is runny, like soft serve ice cream that’s melted, but, boy did it taste good.

  2. I got to know this machine at a friend when we got a sorbet like desert made of 100% fruit. This machine is practical and easy to use and clean. it delivers ice-cream like texture only using fruits.Almost all of the recipes require bananas as the base but if you don’t like or are allergic to bananas, you can still enjoy a blueberries/Mango ice cream in a few minutes.I’ve also froze yogurt to see if I could make frozen yogurt type of ice cream and it worked.a couple of negative points go to it being too loud during the operation as well as the cheap plastic casing. The motor can also be heated after a short period of time so if you’re to make ice-cream for more than a few people, it wouldn’t be that quick and you have to plan ahead of time. For the price, I think it is a bit over priced for the material used and the quality.

  3. Se me descompuso a la semana, esperando reembolso

  4. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Make sure you take it apart when finished putting the fruit through, there are a couple of tablespoons in the inside. It makes tasty sorbet. I have been experimenting and playing with different combinations of fruit. Cherry and peach are a fun combo, my granddaughter says banana and cherry is also really good (I don’t eat bananas). So far we haven’t found a combo that was bad just we like some better than others. Also if you have fresh fruit that’s getting too ripe you can freeze and use it in the dessert maker.

  5. Omfg do yourself a favor and get this. It’s excellent. I’ve never eaten so much fruit in my whole life and this makes it so easy. As soon as you get the hang of how long you need to defrost each type of fruit, the end product is great. I’ve tried kiwis, bananas, grapes, dragonfruit, blueberries, blackberries you name it, I’ve frozen and made sorbet out of it with this thing. By far the bananas get you the creamiest ice cream like flavor and texture out of any other fruit, but watermelon and the like make excellent sorbet-like products too. Anyway, get this and you’ll never have to worry about wasting fruit ever again or craving ice cream in the middle of the night and fighting your inner demons against the call of frozen icy desserts.

  6. We received the Yonanas 988BK Deluxe Vegan Non-Dairy Frozen Fruit Soft Serve Dessert Maker as a Christmas present for our 9 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! She has been using it almost every day since we got it and it has quickly become one of her favorite kitchen gadgets. The Yonanas machine is extremely easy to use. Simply add frozen fruit to the chute and push down with the plunger. The machine does the rest, turning the fruit into a creamy and delicious soft serve dessert. We love that it allows us to make healthier dessert options for our daughter that are free of dairy, added sugars, and artificial ingredients. The machine itself is very durable and well-made. It is also easy to clean, which is a major plus. The only downside we have found is that it can be a bit loud when in use, but this is a minor issue for us.Overall, we are extremely happy with the Yonanas 988BK Deluxe Vegan Non-Dairy Frozen Fruit Soft Serve Dessert Maker and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and healthy dessert option. It has been a hit with our daughter and we know it will be a staple in our kitchen for years to come.

  7. Good output and texture of frozen fruits – doesn’t mix different types of fruit too well, so most of the time a spoonful may have just one flavor. Cleaning is a hassle.

  8. Product works very well does what its suposed to. I highly recomend thawing out your bananas about 10 minutes before use and i notice the texture is alot more like regular ice cream if you also use peaches and mangos

  9. Gets the ice cream like texture so great! Love this item and do recommend. ONLY reason why I gave it five stars is that the stick does not get out all of the fruit when pushing it out so that goes wasted. Other than that, comes apart and is easy to clean.

  10. Muy buen producto contribuye a la salud

  11. This product really works great! It does exactly what it says it does. Freeze your fruit and slide it down the hatch. Viola- homemade ice cream. The only thing I thought of was that the final product isn’t as sweet as what we are typically used to getting in terms of ice cream. That is fine though because this is so healthy. It’s pure fruit, no fillers or added sugar. You could add extra stuff after it comes out if you need it a little sweeter, but that has nothing to do with the effectiveness of this product. I love it.

  12. I like the soft serve it makes kind of messy to make and a bit hard to clean

  13. Me encantó, es exactamente lo que quería

  14. Do not pass go. Seriously. Super loud— but was fun to use UNTIL second time using. Just cut off. Thought maybe I had a faulty outlet or there was a tripped GFI— nope— all other electronics/blenders worked. This product is just that shoddy. Unfortunately, I was unable to return it as I didn’t use it until a few weeks after delivery. So it you’re going to ignore the poor reviews and try it anyway (like I did) then at least open the box and use it right away so you get the benefit of a return and money back when it breaks during your second use. :-/ Should have just stuck to my ninja blender for this type of treat…the only difference is adding a small amt of water and scraping the sides more often. Even if this machine had not broken during the second time using it, it still clogged, required scraping and was super loud— so I am not sure the novelty is worth the price. It’s not needed to make banana “ice cream”

  15. La máquina es buena y cumple su función, no me gustó el sabor ni la consistencia de las bananas parecía puré chicloso, quizás no las congelé lo suficiente, pero seguiré probando con otras frutas y haciendo nuevas combinaciones

  16. The product is very easy to assemble, use and clean. However, the resulting fruit serve was not what I expected. I only tried one flavor banana/strawberry. The consistency had very small ice crystals, although it was more creamy than a slushy. I’m sure that with some experimentation, I might have improved the result. However, my intent was to produce a treat without adding any sugar or dairy, and also to have this available as a good used for extra fruit on hand. Theoretically, it should be good for anyone who is diabetic or lactose intolerant. In truth, since bananas formed the base of the majority of recommended recipes, and since fruit itself can be quite high in sugar, I think this would appeal to a very small niche clientele. It does exactly what it says, but I had hoped the product would be more creamy, and that the recipes might have more flexibility. Again, as far as ease of use, I had no complaints whatsoever, but I did thoroughly clean and dry all the parts and return it.

  17. GAME. CHANGER. I love this machine! When I’m at work I think all day about which yonana miracle I will treat myself with once I get home. This absolutely satisfies my sweet tooth/ice cream craving. I can’t recommend it enough.

  18. Update: After the Mrs. gave me the ok to return it, I found the box and will be sending it back. I made her a snack using a regular blender and she admitted that it was smoother, better mixed with fruit, and basically what the product pic for the yonana looked like instead of what the yonana actually makes (a banana paste with occasional streaks of fruit because it doesn’t, you know, blend).Seriously. I bought one because my wife really wanted one, and now I can’t return it. It basically does what you can do with a food processor, but slower, with more waste stuck inside, and you can’t add extra ingredients to mix in like milk or chocolate chips (unless you want to mix in by hand, which you won’t get a very good product doing liquids by hand). Just save your money and buy a food processor if you don’t already have one somehow.

  19. I am so in love with this! Super easy to use and satisfies my sweet tooth at night! The cleaning is a little annoying but not terrible. Would recommend this to anyone with kids or just looking for healthier alternatives!

  20. I love this appliance. A ripe banana and a few other bits of fruit and you have a healthy alternative to ice cream. It’s easy to use, simple to clean, cheaper than buying ice cream and helps you use those bananas that ripen so quickly.Only negatives:1. I wish they made the spout jut out further. The frozen treat comes out quite close to the machine so you have to keep an eye on the bowl and move it around.2. A lot of the frozen treat remains inside the machine so you need to open it up and get all the goodness out.But these are minor things and haven’t hampered my enjoyment of the appliance or the sweet treats it produces.

  21. Oh my word! This is what I have been searching for forever! I enjoy making banana ice cream, but I have been using a food processor (not terrible, but cleaning can be a pain). But this? I mean, few of the steps are cumbersome (freeze the bananas, take them out to let them thaw for a few minutes, take out the other fruit and allow them to thaw for a few minutes) but other than that…easy as pie (or freezing bananas). The base is unusually light and so easy to transport from our pantry to the counter. The pieces are extremely easy to remove, clean and reassemble. It comes with a recipe book, as well as tips to optimize flavor and cleaning. I have had more banana ice cream this month, than I have had the entire year. I cannot wait to continue to experiment with different mixes and flavors. Cannot recommend the Yonana more. Totally worth it for anyone who enjoys more fruity “ice cream” without the addes sugars.

  22. I am honestly very impressed with this little kitchen gadget!!Originally I bought it as a way to make eating fruit more fun for the entire family. My 10month old son loves all the flavors that we have made so far, and my wife was shocked at how closely the consistency matched traditional ice cream.Unit is easy to use: you assembly pieces, add some pieces of slightly thawed frozen bananas, and add other lightly thawed frozen fruit as well to mix the flavors / create your own combination. Turn unit on and use the plunger handle to push the fruit into the grinder area. Once you are ready to use the unit, the start to finish process takes less than 5min.Some people mentioned the unit was noisy, but after trying it out it is WAY LESS NOISY than a standard blender, or than some kitchen exhaust fans. My 10month old son was not even phased by this unit made!If you want delicious and healthy treats, the Yonanas softserve maker is amazing!! If you live in a warm climate, get one already!!

  23. This was recommended to me by someone in a healthy lifestyle changes group that I participate in, as an alternative to ice cream. So far, I’ve only tried it with bananas, grapes, and berries, and it doesn’t really work that well. Most of what I put in stays in the machine, and I have to scrape it out with a spatula, which is pretty annoying. It works better if I put my ingredients into a blender first and then freeze the result in an ice cube tray, then let the ice cubes soften a tiny bit, and then run them through the machine, but that’s really too much effort, so this machine basically sits unused. Also, the recipes are silly, because the ingredients are going to come out in the order you put them into the machine. The machine doesn’t mix them for you.

  24. I went to our local kitchen store and bought a $600 Vitamix trying to get a device that would make banana ice cream from frozen bananas. I was so disappointed in the Vitamix because it WOULD NOT do it and then I found this on Amazon and took a chance purchasing it. I am so HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY I did! I just used it this morning and am out of my mind HAPPY with how beautifully and easily it operates, and I am eating banana ice cream that is creamy beyond belief, and it’s made from ONLY frozen bananas! Nothing else added!

  25. This product was recommended to me for making easy, “ ice cream” treats. It is so easy to use and fruit flavored cool treats are awesome. Slightly ripe frozen bananas and almost any fruit combinations result in creamy goodness. This machine runs pretty much every day in the summer in my house for me and my dogs. It comes with a small recipe book that gave me some good ideas but I have taken to the next level of good ness. I make a batch of banana and pumpkin pupcicles for the dogs and put in small ice cube trays, they love it. Easy to set up and use although it is a bit loud. Clean up is super easy, minimal parts. Holding up well with continuous use over the summer. The texture of the bananas is like thick ice cream, I was surprised because I thought it would be more like ice popsicles. Overall great product if you like bananas and frozen fruit. It is not super sweet like you would expect it to be from bananas and frozen fruit. Frozen blueberries , mango chunks, pineapple, cherries all work well. Frozen pumpkin cubes are good too. I would definitely buy this product again.

  26. My son says this is a wonderful product! I bought it on a whim for Christmas. It turned out to be one of his favorite gifts. It is easy to use, you can use any semifrozen fruits. It makes delicious sorbets!

  27. I say mostly because my kids (9, 11) are exceeding their daily recommended fruit intake in the name of “ice cream” and a much greater variety. They absolutely love it. My main critique is that it wastes a LOT. There is practically a full serving trapped inside after each use. And after a month of heavy use, the washable, detachable pieces are not staying locked in place so well during use. So we will see how it holds up. But the price is right, compared to a trip to a smoothie shop (this pays for itself after about 2 to 3 visits.) Over all, I would probably recommend.

  28. We got it because we went full vegan recently. My first time using it we were sold. Make sure all your fruit is ripe and sweet! I even let my strawberries and rasberries get a little riper than I normally would eat them. First time I used it we followed the instructions and let 2 bananas and 2 peaches thaw for 8 minutes. It came out perfect. It was so creamy with the bananas but not like soft serve. It is more like gelato with a rich, thick, creaminess. I adore gelato so this was a bonus. I forgot it was nothing but fruit at one point and I almost stopped eating it. Oh the joy in remembering it is healthy, vegan and I can enjoy it guilt free! That was a good feeling. I can see my kids using this everyday.2 bananas and 2 peaches made me a pint, I was surprised because I expected just a small bowlful for some reason. 6 bananas in and a small bag of frozen fruit later I had enough to store a large carton. When I got some later it was still creamy and maintained the same texture. You can even freeze yogurt cubes, plant milk cubes or regular milk cubes if you don’t want to use bananas. I prefer to make it in bulk but it would be worth it to use for single serve dishes as well. I really have no idea how this could get a bad review unless it was broken, or you picked unsweetened fruit.Compare this to the “healthy” ice cream options in stores which are usually only sold by the pint, and price wise this is also a winner. I paid less than $2 a pint shopping at Whole Foods. If I use Aldi’s it is even cheaper. Don’t waste months thinking about it. Just get it!Update! It is months later and we still use it often. We still love it and it still works great. If it broke I would replace it immediately. All the reviews complaining about having to take it apart to get that last bit of ice cream out make no sense. You have to take it apart anyways to clean it! Some are saying it is easier to use a blender. You also have to scrape a blender! So when cleaning, scrape that last bit into your bowl, rinse your pieces and walk away with your bowl of ice cream. Not hard or as inconvenient as they are making it to be. Also if it isn’t mixing well, your pieces are too frozen. Even the videos above show the fruit mixes together when done right.

  29. If you have a good food processer you do not need this

  30. These have become our favorite after-dinner desserts at home.Banana is essential to almost every (creamy) recipe, but it combines so very well with multiple fruits and berries.Cleanup is a snap (not dishwasher safe)! This same treat would cost $5-10 per serving in a bar or restaurant. You are limited only by your imagination when concocting new frozen desserts!

  31. Funciona muy bien y es muy fácil de usar además que es una opción más saludable de preparar helado

  32. Works great

  33. I have purchased ice cream makers and wind up using them a few times and then not very often after, but this machine is used daily! It is SO easy to do and a breeze to clean! I freeze all of the fruits that have nit been eaten and would usually be thrown away because they would go bad. It takes only minutes to pull a package of frozen fruit out of the freezer and whip it up! I add honey to the mixture for a sweetener and a teaspoon of water to help soften it. I do put the mixture back through the grinder two times to make sure it’s creamy and smooth. I have used this for my granddaughter as a quick treat, and for my daughter that had her tonsils removed. So far i have made strawberry, mango, pineapple, banana, pineapple-strawberry, strawberry-banana, and pineapple mango. The banana definitely makes the mixture creamier. The other fruit mixtures are the consistency of sherbet. I don’t know how long the blades will last or if they will get dull, but if they do, it is well worth the price to replace. This is a fabulous replacement for someone on a diet or trying to ear healthier as it replaces the sweet treats with healthy fruit and no additives! 10 our of 10 on this product!!

  34. Works greats and easy to clean

  35. This device does work to turn frozen fruit into a sorbet like desert. I add a little sugar to mine but it’s purely a personal taste. The first problem is that you can’t actually use frozen fruit, it can’t handle how hard it is when it comes out of the freezer. I’ve found that I have to leave bananas out of the freezer for 10 minutes and the berries for 5 to 7 minutes if I lay them flat on a pan. If you do try to run fully frozen fruit it sound like it’s tearing itself apart. When you clean it you will find that quite a bit of the fruit doesn’t make it out of the machine and into your bowl, I’ve started taking it apart when I’m done and then I scrape the remaining fruit out into the bowl. The blades are nothing but little metal triangles stuck into a plastic cone shaped holder. I’m guessing that they are trying to scrape the outside of the fruit but the openings are too large so I get a lot of chunks that ruin the smooth texture of the parts that came out correctly. We’ve made maybe a dozen batches so far and I can see that the chunks are getting larger and the sound when it’s running gets worse. I don’t expect that this is going to last much longer.

  36. This is a great product! Easy to use.

  37. I purchased a fruit bowl in Dallas Texas and was hooked, this is a simple way to create a frozen fruit bowl with frozen sugar free fruit and bananas. Much cheaper than the one I purchased in TX for $14.00.I would recommend!

  38. This item is so messy to use. Takes awhile just to make a cup. Did not like at all.

  39. Love the easy functionality and ease of clean up.Great texture and a big hit with everyone in the house. The recipe book is very impressive and useful.Looking forward to trying many!

  40. It works very well and the result is delicious and healthy. But you need to follow the instructions. You need frozen bananas in your mix as they provide the creamy texture. And take them out of the freezer 20-30 minutes before using. The only down side so far: it’s very loud. But that’s not a deal breaker since you only run it for maybe 2-3 minutes. I’m happy with my purchase.

  41. Okay, I know I’m late to the party, since this device has been around over a decade, but Yonanas is awesome! This machine can take frozen fruit and turn it into a soft serve ice cream consistency without anything else added! I’ve been interested in it for a long time, but always thought it’d be silly to have a device like this that can basically only do one thing (as opposed to a blender) but I just found it cheaper than normal on Amazon (the “classic” version for around 30 instead of 50) so as a lactose intolerant person I decided to finally get one and give it a try. We just finished our first attempt, which was a mix of two bananas, some strawberries and blackberries. It made a lot more than we expected, around 10 scoops! It was a bit softer than it’d be normally because I let the frozen fruit thaw longer than the recommended 7-10mins, but it was still great. The texture was creamy and perfect (besides some seeds from the berries), had nice flavor, and I am really happy and looking forward to trying a lot of other combinations. I rarely eat fruit but now this will definitely “trick” me into eating more. And since it’s so healthy it doesn’t feel as bad making it fancier with chocolate sauce or sprinkles. I really like the idea of using this to make an easy icebox pie too! That should really impress everyone at a party. The included recipe book is beautiful (and in a few languages), and there are a lot of other great ideas on their website and elsewhere online. The noise level wasn’t as bad as I expected based on other reviews. Seems like a normal blender volume? So yes, noisy, but not enough to give me a headache or make it difficult to talk to someone next to you. And this machine works quickly too, so it’s not on for long (and isn’t supposed to be on for longer than 2mins at a time). Cleaning it really wasn’t that bad either. My husband quickly rinsed everything while I was taking pictures to show to everyone, haha. Based on reading and watching video reviews, I already knew to open the unplugged machine and get the extra mixture out with a small spatula to not waste anything like some people complained about. It really didn’t take long. And it honestly makes sense that there would be some left inside since it slowly mixes everything together as it grinds the frozen fruits. I also cut the bananas into smaller pieces before freezing so I could alternate the fruits quicker for a better blended finished product (see images). This was definitely a winner! I’m very glad I purchased this, and even my husband (who doesn’t have lactose intolerance like I do) was impressed and said he’d be happy to eat more (but maybe mixtures with less tiny seeds since he found that odd in an otherwise creamy “nice cream”). The fruit can really pack a punch for flavor, but the banana can help mellow out sour/tart notes.

  42. This machine is the best. Super easy to use and easy to clean. As long as I keep frozen fruits in the freezer, my kids can make their own “ice cream” any time they want. Its good for use with bananas, mangoes, most berries. It gets tricky with fruit that you would usually eat the skin with the meat, such as grapes. I would rather peel the skin before freezing the grapes, but personal preference. Also, make sure to take out the seeds before freezing. I like freezing soursap and making this sorbet with vanilla seeds. Sooo good! Definitely recommend.

  43. I receive d this product on time and I tried it the same day. It’s easy to use, it is not that noisy and I love the taste it’s like eating sherbert but without no sugar and no preservative I have tried it with bananas, I’ve tried it with cherries and strawberries. I tried it with all kinds of fruit as long as it’s frozen it works wonders. The price is great. This is my favorite yonanas machine, Very easy to clean, it’s not messy at all. It’s very healthy, And it comes out very smooth as well as thick and it doesn’t melt really quickly which is a good thing. Doesn’t take much counter space. I’ll recommend to family and friends.

  44. We bought this to make healthier options for desserts. Using just frozen fruits and bananas, the Yonanas made several tasty treats following the recipes provided. No fat, no sugar, vegan, all natural!!It was extremely easy to operate and clean up was a breeze. Although it says dishwasher safe, we opted to hand wash in the sink which was no issue at all.We are very pleased with this product and have already been sharing desserts with others.

  45. I am singing the praises for this item. I made my first recipe today (strawberries and bananas) and now am determined to work my way through the recipe book. The dessert was so creamy and just the right texture. Incredibly easy to make and just as easy to clean.

  46. My husband & I are plant based & sometimes crave ice cream but don’t want all the extra garbage ingredients & fat. This machine is wonderful. Somehow it makes fruit taste creamy, like it’s ice cream. We freeze bananas, strawberries, blueberries, etc. and just place them in this magic machine & bam! Ice cream! It’s great. It feels like we’re cheating but we’re not. It’s easy to use, easy to clean & something we’ll most likely use forever.Even if you’re not strictly vegan I think you should give this a try to reduce the amount of absolute garbage in the food you buy from the grocery store.

  47. I liked the facted it really worked and the fruit was good
